'73 convertible with the Decor package, and yes, I have the original Comfortweave ready for replacement. There are a couple of seat upgrades I have questions about:
1st: I want to add seat heaters. I'm thinking the switch will be hidden in the unused ashtray area. My question is in the installation of the heaters in the layers of upholstery and I think there should be a layer between the heat source and the upholstery. Your thoughts? Should there also be a layer between the foam and the heater pads? I'm planning to get power from the accessory post on the fuse block (with in-line fuses).
2nd: Will be upgrading the driver's side to power controls. In general if anyone has done this before and has tips, I'd appreciate them. As to sourcing the power, I thinking an in-line fuse to the accessory post.
