  1. I told the group I'd post pictures when I got them onto the car. I'm very pleased with the finished look. Front, 15X7, 245-60 Rear, 15X8, 255-60

  2. Wanted to pass this along in case it may be helpful, though I know a 400 engine is not a popular swap for 71-73 Mustangs. So last spring we purchased a '72 Mach 1 that was in need of TLC but had good bones. It was originally a 302/3-speed manual vehicle that, at some point, someone had converted to a 400/C6. I had almost passed on the car because of the drivetrain change....but didn't. The car was not drivable but started right up and would go into gear. The owner couldn't tell me anything about the engine except for it's size, as the swap was done by a previous owner before them. Bu

  3. I came back last week from Australia. While there i got a copy of the Just Cars magazine with almost 300 pages of cars for sale. Here are pictures of the 71-73 Mustangs and the Falcon/Fairmont XBs that have a very similar front/hood. Consider that the exchange rate is about 0.7 US to AUS. So in US$ the price would be about 30% less.

  4. I like buying from Don at Ohio Mustang, He is a sponsor and member of this site. I have learned to trust his experience with our cars. He has new and used parts. Another I can recommend is Mike and his family at MotorcityMustang. He is also a sponsor/member here and he has an active Ebay store. Ray

  5. Clearly thrown together with a bunch of spare parts. The trans is a three speed, headers are regular Windsor headers with an adapter plate. I could scab one of these together with crap lying around my garage too....
