  1. Hello Galucha, Don't discount the rarity of this vert because it's just an F code. As mpbsr stated, it must be one of the "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" very rare, very elusive, Frank Cone Mach 1 convertibles! Here's the deal on the lowly F code. Back when I was actively showing my Mach 1, I was approached by one of the always present car show experts and his admiring entourage. After I got schooled on all that was wrong on my car, he proceeded to tell me about the engines that were available in the 71-73's. Little did I know that all the 302's in the 71-73 Mustangs were a

  2. Disclaimer: this list may not be up to date or complete. I've been curious about which brand of oil filter is best for our cars. Sifting through all the advertising hype and them deciding what to buy is mind blowing. The more one looks, the more one's mind get confused. What I found was that there are only a few manufacturers of oil filters and unfortunately that list is not totally up to date. Companies get bought and sold constantly so it's hard to keep up with who owns who. The main players seem to be Champion Labs, Honeywell, Dana/WIX and Purolator. That list may have changed since it

  4. If you're running anything but factory type non-halogen sealed bean headlamps, you'll have this problem. some times you get lucky with halogens, usually not. A permanent fix is a relay pack retrofit. You're now taking the load off the headlamp switch, and getting power directly from the battery (+) cable. I cannot recommend it enough - no switch worries & brighter headlamps - what's not to love? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-CERAMIC-H4-HEADLIGHT-RELAY-WIRING-HARNESS-2-HEADLAMP-LIGHT-BULB-SOCKET-PLUGS/290975680907

  6. So, I was going over some of the many articles online about oil filters. Most really do not relate to the equivalent of the Motorcraft FL1A or similar, but the information may be useful. There is so much that seems to contradict one from another and that just adds to the confusion. I guess it's take what is relevant to out cars needs and dump the rest except maybe for your daily driver. Here are some links to articles I found interesting, but like I said, there is so much out there, you may want to look through for yourself. 10 Best Oil Filters (June. 2020) - Buyer's Guide and Rev

  7. Hello mjlan, The Mach1 Sports Interior option included the following, knitted vinyl (comfort weave) high back bucket seats, deluxe 2 spoke steering wheel with wood grain inserts, left side instrument panel clock (clock standard only on Grande), bright pedal trims, molded deluxe door panels, left and right camera case instrument panel trim, center instrument warning gauges with wood grain panel, rear ash tray, and vinyl inserts in the front carpet .Considering all the upgraded content, this was a very nice option. The mini console was standard on ALL models. The long console was a
