  3. I am just sharing my recent experience. I have a fairly new cordless DeWalt. The first time I run the oil pump it was at high speed and after a few seconds it smoked - it didn't burn because I was able to use it after a few seconds and still today. At low speed I was able to achieve 80 psi of pressure with no problem.

  4. Thank you. You were correct. And I solved the mystery of why the motor just happened to start working last night. The motor is grounded through a brass strap and a metal grommet attached to one of its mounting screws. I used the trusty multimeter and discovered that there was continuity from the motor's case to the brass strap. But then even though the grommet is contacting the brass strap with a pretty significant amount of surface area, my continuity stopped there. I pulled those parts apart and found some corrosion which was apparently enough to stop the flow of electrons. I guess when that area got wet in the rain, the water completed the circuit and allowed the thing to ground and the motor to work. I spent some quality time with the ground strap, the grommet, and a power sander and made it back down to bare metal. Then flipped the arm on the motor 180 degrees. And now the wipers behave as they should. I still need to track down some new blades. Whatever ones are the best of the best, spare no expense.

  5. Made it back in one piece. Drove her almost 1,800 miles in four days. It was nice to drive a car with so much power. In 5th gear up the hills with nice acceleration and no need to downshift.

  7. I will be leaving tomorrow,. It's about 1400 miles each way. Not bringing anything to sell (don't have anything) but my wife and Dr insist that I need a vacation/time away from the shop. I kept my vendor spot so I have onsite parking and get in on Thursday.

  8. I just installed some Vintage LED's and love them. The camera makes them look a tad yellow, but they aren't. They are a nice bright red and they don't show all of the individual LED's too badly. 20210427_202246.mp4
