  1. It's a awesome idea and honestly I wish I had the funds for a EV. It'll be a showstopper regardless. And one things for sure. It'll get better mpg than ANY car on this forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. A lot of work in this one. Honestly I'm not a fan of the redone front headlights but you have surely taken the 71-73's where they have never been before. Nice metal work as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Cuda is right. This car has been on there forever. Even I think this is the 3rd time it's been posted here. The car had mismatched vins and the dash vin was put on with screws. At first he was selling the car as a fastback that was converted to a coupe. At this point he should probably just part it out or scrap it. I'm sure it'll never sell, moreover be registered and put back the roads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Sweet ride!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hell yeah!!! Now we need 73 bumper brackets! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Guy at work gets cheap gas from fuel perks at Bulk retailers. Last week he paid .92 gal. His wife is a coupon cutter and crazy savings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. 2.77 in thorn burg va. Filled my little beater for $24 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Went for a cruise today. It was a nice change from wrenching on her. I'm loving the way it's turning out. I had her at top of the drive when I came back home to check over see if anything odd going on. Decided to snap a picture as she looks so much better now. Otherwise I changed the oil in the daily's SE-R and the 98 coupe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is like a automatic windshield defroster. Haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Wow! Cant tell the car was ever damaged in those places. The chip foose drawing is a nice touch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The argent stripes ruin it for me. The rest look good. Seems like a pretty clean car too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Isn't that the same car that was posted a few months ago for like 200 bucks with some shady title scam or vin swap. Or maybe fastback converted to a coupe or something another. Looks aweful familiar. Edit: yep. http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-um-you-just-have-to-read-this-one-for-effect Maybe he did do the right thing and get the paperwork sorted out. 13. It's sweet! Who's Mac? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Is that a 67 grille? How'd you fav that up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Started playing with the front bumper and gave it a few coats of matching paint. It has cracks in it so I'm not worried about it looking pristine but I was tired of the ugly thing not matching. I guess it'll do for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I want to swap my 302 to a 351w as well. Looking forward to hearing how it works out for you. The 351 should put a lot more torque down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You have done so much work to that car I just can't fathom your dedication to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Glad I could help! More importantly it was a simple fix. My 302 had same issue but a little worse but all the manifold bolt I got a full turn by hand before I put the ratchet to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Only me myself and I drive my cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks. I'm spending the day putting in a Max Jax hoist. I'm doing all the fitment in my shop (where I stain fibreglass entry doors for a living) and with all of my equipment I need all the room I can get to keep the work flowing. My solution was to get the car off the ground so I don't lose all that floor space. Besides, I built the '68 off my back on 4 jack stands and at 46yrs I don't mind saying cold concrete has an effect on me now lol. I understand that. My dad out in a rotary lift in his garage so I take it over there a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Sounds like an exhaust leak. Check the manifolds and donut gaskets for any black carbon build up. Usually exhaust leaks make ping or taping noises only under load. ( well except for really big leaks ) Had a Chebby with your same symptoms and turns out the manifold bolt head broke off at the very back of the head. Simple exhaust leak turned into this: It can be overlooked so I thought I'd throw that idea out there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I have some prior commitments ATM but even at the new price I'll be interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Welcome back, nice to have you back and good to hear the '11 is back on the road as well. Hope it's all forward gears from here on out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Keep up the good work man. Been following this thread since day one and love the new look! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
