  1. ::welcome::My preferred colour. Best describing mine by viewing it 1st hand. Have a whole lot of pics on my photo album ie, from purchase-tear down-entire resto-mod job. Profile tells it all however my COTM submission for the month of February 2015 will show you a quick-concise view from all angles. Did not have space for its biography however, between a little short story for intro then a laymans terms for description covers it all. If you deem it is worthy of the Febrary slot in next years calendar, pls do vote for it. Mikke
  2. Jimmy::welcome::For a one owner, you have been saved the headache of restoration. I am working on a MAACO paint job either this year or next as this job just was not prepped right. Best for you to check it out between the profile, photo album or ez gallery, and COTM. I submitted my mustang for the COTM for February. PLS view it and vote for it if it looks worth it to be in the calendar (which like 2014s can be bought next year from lulu.com. Mikke
  3. ::welcome::Welcome from Latrobe, PA. You have a lot of mustangs! My case, just one that took 10 years on more than a part time hobby which just ran into one bad decision for help to another however had a lot of fun participating in its resto-mod. Better let you see my profile and pics on my COTM for February to give you the best view of mine. If it looks worth voting on for that month, pls vote. Mikke
  4. Welcome from Latrobe, PA USA! This is where the websites base station is. Home of Arnold Palmer, PGA, Fred Rogers was born and raise and lived to his final days here, re: TV show, "its a wonderful neighborhood or Fred Rogers Neighborhood-like a modified version of Captain Kangaroo, where the 1st banana split came from, first profession football team in US, where Steelers NFL team has there summer camp (at St Vincent College), only place that instituted alternate way of billing parkers at their parking meters re: by app. On my site, over 200+ photos on photo album, also located on the ez gallery as well will find my COTM submission for February interest, re: if so, pls vote formine. FYI Calendar that comes out for 2015 will be sold by lulu.com like 2014 calendar located.
  5. sharp! @ how much horsepower from rear wheels? Mine a Q-Code 72 Mustang was rebuilt to @ 350 hp and 9.5:1 compression ratio from the engine w/Holley 650cfm carb before and now w/700 cfm solid body throttle into the Holley "Avenger" MPI EFI further with ram air kit and the K & N dome and base air filter. W/3.5:1 rear axle w/Hurst 4-speed std stick w/wide ratio Ford Toploader w/2.78 in 1st gear and with the Gear Vendors Overdrive = .71:1 in 4th gear, and stock limited slip posi then adding a traction bars and QA1 18 level w/struts on front and Koni Classics on rear. Rate @ 300 rwhp by dyno tune w/289 ft lbs torque. 245 X 60 X 15 X 8" Goodrich T/A radial 15 X8" Magnum 500 in rear and 7" on front w/225 X 15 X 7" Goodrich.
  6. Nice wheels and tires! What you were considering @ 225-35, I have 245 X 60 X 15 X 8" on rear and 225 X 7's in front(Goodrich white raised lettered T/A radials) and Magnum 500 X 7 in front and X 8" in rear and was looking at Mustangs Ones Magnum 500 X 18 or 19" wheels however I am trying to keep it to "appear" like a stock HiPo.
  7. So true however, aside from the disc brake conversion kit which I expect to be part from everwhere but they have tested what they sell and move quickly to replace part (upon receiving the bad part) they will test that one and tell you if it was bad. Holley SSBC products I got from them I take for granted as made in USA and they worked w/me in their technical department and they go further consulting w/Holley inc. For a item ticket as expensive but cheaper than anywhere else ie, EFi unit they take even more serious in working w/whom is installing it. As you can read, I have more problems w/the right guy to install the components for me ie read my last page of my photo album re: brake failure upon leaving the garage. Cpy Cat/Mikke
  8. Hi John, As i see, msg s have gotten through. For now, guess I will put those pics on my photo album as it is accepting them and all relavent to my mustang in either w/me and family, events, and or resto-mod projects. Ciao/aur voir
  9. I can relate on preference of American Made(parts out of Summit parts in Ohio) as opposed to out of country. As well with good service between Auto Electric Garages and .....cpy cat/Mikke
  10. "Nice Choice"! As anyone from really tall or a little more stocky or weighty, as I have done, (see either my photo album or my COTM submission) in modifying the interior to justify more space in proportion to it's overall dimensions! cpy cat/Mikke :dodgy:I have been experiencing a problem in transmitting pics, so w/that case, my last try to post it here. cpy cat::welcome::
  11. You have a lot of good advice from all of our fellow member and somewhere on facebook I read there are agencies out there that sponsor projects as your's and my input is to read and view my resto-mod on the COTM Submissions and further w/installing twin turbos as my EFI has an upgrade to handle up to 600+ hp.
  12. Just found this opening to your file attempting a third try to send a pic. Mike 4th attempt..... 4th attempt.....from msg missing, now error 503? server unavailable? Will have to try a different photo. Instead will post original photo on COTM. 6th attempt with different photo, re: missing msg error again. Just other error said server unavailable, #---
  13. re: failed in prior msg w/pic going through to you, ie J. Leno's Camaro.
  14. once you straighten out your....their is nice universal traction -chrome-bars that attach to leafs that completley stops hopping and significantly improve take offs/re: increase rate of to 60+mph.
  15. yep, 72 front grill so if being sold for as 73 or 73 vin there is an inconsistency-i would look at serial numbers if any match the year on the vin as well if the decal for accessories located on inner frame of door or....justifies @ a large percentage of price reduction to make a do over as may have a problem of getting it through a state inspection or qualify even if you are taking it to a exempt state inspection state. Ie, if seller passes it off as 1-2-or even as low as 3 condition, your discretion on purchase but sounds like you need to take time away from the transaction to right off see if it has a clean debt free title. If seller objects to your taking time to think about buyingw it trying to make the interaction as an on the spot forced sale it would be easier to walk away from it as their are others out their. As for being able to back out of accepting the car in any manner of time, there is no rights of the buyer of this condition. You basically purchase it as an 'as is' transaction.if it smells like crap it must be crap so at that point walk away from it.
  16. as i said-have to see in person and sounds like a wheelin dealin so seeing it in person w/a mechanic that knows his mustang and seller giving all that extra lip service should negotiate a couple grand less right off the proverbial bat. Then even before wasting your and mechanic s time in the inspection look closely at previous repair receipts owners garages worked on it.where and when last inspection or...walk away from it.
  17. very nice! Like the striping/paint job. Seems like a decent price but whether paying more or less got to look carefully on if doors shut easily-charging system analysis-tracking-smooth start up to acceleration/cruise-braking...
  18. same problem and found the same-bearings. Small thing if it is caught in time. If everything checks out ok...i see you found it in time.thats good.
  19. Not exactly that but for @ $50 out of th heartland buyers catolugue a 110 degree camera that has extra sensitive to lowestw lite level for still shots as well up to a 32gb sd and it has a high quality motion stabilizer all wrapped up in a compact package even smaller than a radar detector off lithium battery if 12V adapter adapter cord is not accessable to where you mount it. And lastly a flip up 3 inch screen for on hands viewing. Its purpose originally to turn on when into an accident situation/location.
  20. my condolences-however you and families action is commendable and hope administrator/moderator offers some kind of recognition re ? For you to further have to so to show your father re if you believe he is able to appreciate seeing it ie to further convey how i believe guys on this site are caring. Myself through out my latter days of high school in 71 @ 16 getting a near perfect score on my drivers written and road test where I started to make proud of me then into the armed forces then attempt to a marriage then degree w/two major-executive job-positioning it to where he retire ie florida in 1983 to be there for parents which was more valuable to them as none of his and mothers clan ever became accomplished and as he retired as head of our towns police traffic bureau ie he enjoyed bragging about as a police officer s job is thankless to all jobs whom both fell victim of heart desease and cancer in 86 as my soul responsibility till they passed on in 89 and 91. It too bad he never got the recognition till our hometown newspaper re eulogy.
  21. however my sequential look like stock when not in operation, I felt I still need just that little more backlight to take away the ie mesmarizing affects as the drivers behind me look at them in awe-so to add an extra light on the rear for that spark that brings those drivers looking on: I INSTALLED AN LED BAR LIGHT ALSO RED THAT APPEARS UNDER COVER RE IMMEDIATLY ABOVE THE LICENSE PLATE WHICH WHEN I AM LOOKING AT THE SIGNALS DOING THEIR SEQUENTIAL THING UPON BRAKING- THE BAR LEDS REALLY STAND OUT THE SAME AS THE NEWER CARS DO WHEN THEIR LIGHT ON IE THEIR REAR DECK LID SPARKS UP PER SE WHEN THEIR BRAKES ARE APPLIED AND I DONT THINK THE DOT HAS ANY OBJECTIONS OF THEIR OPERATION BUT SINCE MY 72 IS LICENSED W/ANTIQUE PLATES THE AUTO ELECTRIC GARAGE APPROVED THEIR USE AS ALSO DOES NOT DETRACT FROM UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW OF READING THE LICENSE PLATE. CPY CAT/MIKKE
