  5. Wow... Sorry, it really is a great car. Hearing that really pisses me off. They have had it since Aug. After about 4 months I told them to entertain all offers and let me know when the get one. Well they didn't. If you don't mind I'm going to cut/paste your last post into an email to them. They need to knowbthat I'm very unhappy to hear they had a chance to make a sale and passed on it. What did you offer them? I really do need to move the car for financial/family reasons and I'm not trying to make a killing on it. Anyway thanks for letting me know. Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
  6. Yes... Its the same car. I cosigned it to them to sell it. If you're interested please let me know. Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk

  9. BUMP - The car is still for sale. I have cosigned it to a dealer as I no longer have room in the garage for it. Here is the website: http://auto-quest.com/index.php Click on inventory. The price is negotiable. PM me if anyone is interested. Thanks...
  10. Great looking car... With a 5.0 and A/C. Would be a nice cruiser. Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
  11. There is no doubt that is a beautiful car. I'm not here to point out the incorrect things. I have watched alot of these cars sell and I've rarely seen one go for this kind of money. I do have a special coupe for sale, and there are other 123's for sale at this dealership. My car does have all matching numbers running gear and it is loaded with options. The Marti verifies it is a one of one. Its a great car. It has been listed with this dealership for almost 3 months for $18,750. They have had lots of interest but no real buyers at that price. At my request they have lowered the price by $1K. I'm not trying to make any money, for financial reasons i just need to sell it. My point is selling one of these cars for $32,900, it would gave to be a very exceptional car. I'm talking about a numbers matching Mach 1 that is either a low mileage time capsule or a beautifully restored complete car. I really do wish you the best of luck in your search. As another member said, mid twenties would probably be a good price for this car. Good luck... http://auto-quest.com/index.php?content=inventory My car is the blue/argent 1973 T5 Coupe. 12. A few websites that may help... http://www.carshowtv.com/2015/03/03/the-10-commandments-of-car-show-etiquette/ http://www.americanmuscle.com/how-to-prepare-fro-a-car-show.html Best thing to do is relax and have a good time. You should enjoy yourself! I'm no pro but bring chairs, an umbrella, a cooler full of drinks and snacks. If at all possible bring your family. I brought my whole family and a few of my kids friends to the Charlotte 50th Anniversary Celebration... we all had a great time. Have fun... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  13. I don't have my mustang, it's at the dealership and hopefully it will sell soon. They tell me there is a lot of interest. Anyway... I installed a new mass air flow sensor on my 2005 Volvo S60 2.5T. I had to take it to the dealership to get the diagnostics done. Ordered the part from rockauto, it was $125 with shipping. The dealer would have charged $325 for the part plus an hour of labor to install it. They were very up front with me and I do appreciate that. It took about 10 minutes to install, including the test drive. All in all a good deal. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  14. That really is one bad-ass looking car. I'm usually not a fan of modern wheels on our cars but those look awesome. The vinyl roof with the blacked out hood is also a nice touch. Well done. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  15. What a beautiful car!! However... those are not the 1973 side stripes. Were things different for verts? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  16. Steve73QMach1 was looking for a Grande... this one looks pretty good. I'd want to see a lot more pictures though. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  17. Great looking car. Congrats on the win. It looks like its been stored in a bubble for the last 20 years! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  18. How has the handling changed? Probably a huge change. Good luck. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  19. Welcome from Bluffton South Carolina. Love the vinyl roof look on our cars. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks Don... hope all is well with you and the family. How is Mason doing? He must be a Corporal by now. I haven't had time to get on the forum much in the last few months. Busy with work, travel, kid's sports and church. Life has taken over... we had some down time last night so I pop the forum up on my phone and this thread was first on the list, how funny is that? Anyway thanks again for thinking of me (my car). Take care... Pete Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  21. Steve, That looks like a nice car... but... If you're looking for a great stable mate for your Mach, my car is for sale. I have it listed with a small classic car dealership in Tifton, GA. Here is the link: http://auto-quest.com/index.php?content=inventory My marti is listed on this site. I don't think you'll find a better optioned Grande in this shape anywhere. It also has the rarity of the T5 option going for it. It really is a great car. I had good times with it, I've owned it for just over 3 years and I'm selling for financial reasons. The price is negotiable, especially for a forum member. Here is the write up: 1973 Ford (Mustang) T-5 Grande Coupe for Sale This car was featured in the August 2013 edition of Mustang Monthly and also featured in the 2014 Edition of the CJ Pony Parts catalog. The links are provided below. This "Q" code Coupe is powered by its original 351 Cleveland backed up by its original 4-speed top loader manual transmission running to a 9" rear end with 2.91 gears and traction-lok differential. This Coupe also came from the factory with the T-5 package, made for export to Germany. The T-5 registry show this car as one of only twelve 1973 T-5's registered in the U.S. This rare car is a one of one (one of 89 with this engine/transmission combo) as verified by the Elite Marti Report and the Original Invoice Eminger Report that will be included with the sale. These documents are both produced by Kevin Marti and officially licensed by Ford Motor Company. This highly optioned car came from the factory with the following options: 351 CID 4V 8 cylinder, 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter, dual racing mirrors, cloth and vinyl bucket seats, power steering, tilt steering wheel, full console, power front disc brakes, air conditioner - selectaire, electric rear window defroster, tinted glass, power side windows, competition suspension (with staggered shocks), T-5 package, and accessory package. This car also has a modern Alpine CD AM/FM head unit with 4 speakers and a separate amplifier installed. It also includes the forged-aluminum slotted mag wheels that were only offered on the 1973 model year cars wrapped in 14" Grand Am Radial GTs. This is a turn-key car, it goes, stops, steers and handles very well. The original engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2006 and have approximately 8K miles on them. This classic is currently dressed as a Mach 1 tribute with front and rear spoilers and is painted in medium blue metallic with argent stripes/spoilers. A new battery, new KYB shocks and new steering components were just installed. Here are the links referenced above: http://www.mustangandfords.com/featured-vehicles/1308-1971-ford-t-5-hardtop-import-duty/ http://www.fordt5.com/registry.html Let me know what you think... thanks.
