1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 for sale
parforever replied to parforever's topic in 71-73 Mustang Parts YOU are selling
Won my 10th Best in Show this weekend. Car is still for sale if anybody is interested. -
For sale: 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Off frame restoration completed in Aug 2013 and is fully documented. The car is numbers matching and is restored in accordance with the Marti report. This car was done right and I had each piece in my hand and either it was replaced new or it was completely refurbished right and installed back into the car. The car was Best in Show from 300 cars at the Robins Air Force Base Museum car show which is the largest show in Georgia. Most recently it was named the best Mustang of 167 Mustangs at the Macon Cherry Blossom festival which was judged by MCA qualifi

Ed's 1971 Mach 1 Full Restoration

Won best Mustang out of about 167 Mustangs this weekend at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon Ga. Was also best in show in the one of Georgia's largest car shows at the Robins Air Force Base Air Museum car show in October. This was the 5th best in show that I have one along with other trophies. I'm getting ready to put it on the selling block but not sure if there is market for a fully documented numbers matching off frame restored 1971 Mustang Mach 1. It's a beauty as you can see from the detailed pics and in my opinion a perfect car done right. -

Looks great. You have a beautiful car, you should be proud. On the black paint, is it single stage hot rod black or base with matte clear? Its base with matte clear. Easier to maintain :) Looks great. You have a beautiful car, you should be proud. On the black paint, is it single stage hot rod black or base with matte clear? -

It looks the same because it is the same :) Yep Hot Rod Black Awesome job, what paint did you use for the matte on the hood? We used hot rod black and it looks about the same finish as yours -

Just noticed I didn't put the pictures of the final project. Finished in Mid September so almost two years to the date that we finished the off frame restoration. I have entered the car in 7 shows and have one best in show 4 times (including the largest show in middle Ga at the Air Museum with 300 cars), best in class twice and best overall paint. Not bad for a shade tree mechanic. Its unbelievable how people flock to the car and tell me how nice it is and its the best out of them all. Makes me proud of all the hard work that went into it. -

RacerX, the booster was working fine when I took it off the car. I purchased a new one because of the detailed restoration I did. My assumption is it still works but have no way of testing. If you want it, send me a PM with a good email address to send a PAYPAL invoice I have sent several of you PMs, versus taking space up on the posts. -
