  1. Here's a few I've got. And is this close enough haha?
  2. So, completely forgot to give them a call. Just got a quote for $149 a year, which sounds great to me considering I'm paying that a month for my Blazer haha.
  3. Little by little. It's almost ready for some trips around the block.
  4. So, figured I'd bump this thread with an update. I bought a set of wheels and tires from a '95 GT to use until I can afford to put some new BFG Radials on my slotted magnums. Problem is, the rims are too wide to use on the front. Luckily, two of the tires I had on the car still hold air, so I put those on the front. Looks kinda funky, but it works for now. Also finally got the driver door lined up correctly with the "new" hinges after taking the front fender off. It sure made the job a hell of a lot easier. We had it lined up within 5 minutes. Door shuts really nice now, especially since the hinges are still 40 years old. Can't wait to put some brand new ones on. Thinking about sanding and priming the fender while we have it off and then doing the same with the other fender. Here are a few pictures.
  5. So, I went out and banged on it while it was running to see if it would get it to start working. No dice. The needle jumped when I hit it, but that was about it haha. Good news is we go the door on straight, shuts real nice now.
  6. Sand Hollow is in between St. George and Hurricane in Utah. So it's about an hour-hour and a half closer than Coral Pink. Sand Hollow also has a lake, so it's also good if you're into boating, jet skis or fishing. It gets into the 100s during summer, though. So be prepared for that. Coral Pink is a nice Spring/Summer spot due to the high elevation. It gets cold and sees a fair amount of snow during the winter. Just be prepared to push your bike to the limit if you go into the dunes, the altitude robs horsepower. The trails are absolutely beautiful, though. Here is a picture of one of the canyons up there. One of my favorite places to ride. I love it because the dunes are in the middle of a forest.
  7. Yeah, Nellis Dunes. It's a nice spot for day trips but a lot of the people that ride there now don't respect anything and have the place trashed. We ride pretty much everywhere in the south west. Dumont, Glamis, Armagosa, Rasor, Sand Hollow, Coral Pink, et cetera. The nerfs are AC Racing pro pegs and the air scoops are homemade. My "short" list of mods is: • 88mm (2.5mm over, 426cc) 11:1 Piston • Stage 2 Cam, CRF450 Cam Chain • 42mm 450r Carb (Jetted for E85 fuel) • ESR Airbox Eliminator Kit • Custom Fit KFX 450 Shocks • Burgard +2 A-Arms, GForce Extended Rear Hubs • ITP Holeshot HDs, Skat~Trak Extreme Paddles My dad's 350X basically hasn't been touched since the day he bought it off the showroom floor. Only thing he has done is basic maintenance and that thing runs as strong as ever. Couldn't even estimate the miles/hours it has on it. Really shows how reliable these machines can be.
  8. I've got a 400EX myself. I've done quite a bit of work to it, too. And dad has an '85 350X. Thing is a beast.
  9. It's the P1. And the tach had stopped working before I installed it so I'm hoping it'll just need a bump. Still haven't had the chance to check it out. Hopefully sometime this week.
  10. Pretty much the only thing holding me back is insurance. Gotta figure out what's going to happen with that before I can do any leg stretching. Also, I've got the dude talked down to $100 on the tires. Gonna pick them up tomorrow.
  11. Sure is nice to see a forum admin as proactive as you, Rocket.
  12. Sorry to hear the visit is under those circumstances. Good luck with everything.
  13. So, the guy sold the tires I was looking to buy. But, I found a set of '95 Mustang GT wheels with some pretty worn tires for $150. I offered $100, he counter offered with $120. As long as the tires aren't completely garbage I think I'm going to get them. I figured once I can afford some new BFG Radials, I can just sell the GT wheels for a decent price. What do you guys things? Here's the listing for them: http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/pts/2205142394.html
  14. Anyone used any of the CD-ROM manuals? I was looking into getting this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-1973-MUSTANG-MACH-1-RANCHERO-Shop-Manual-CD-73_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34220QQitemZ290463202960
