  1. Welcome from the Gulf Coast. This is a great site, as you have already noticed. Lots of info and a valuable pool of knowledge from the members.
  2. Got mine yesterday. It really looks nice! I had meant to post when I received it but got busy with other things (honey-do list). Thank you! ::thumb::
  3. Very nice looking vert. ::thumb:: Anything you need to know can be found here. You'll find that the guys and gals here have an astounding amount of experience with these cars. Oh, and welcome from the Gulf Coast!
  4. Welcome from the Gulf Coast. From what I can see, it looks like you did a mighty fine job! ::thumb::
  5. Welcome from the Gulf Coast. Snow, cold weather, and I don't get along very well. Just hearing about that foot of snow makes me want to hibernate.
  6. Hello and welcome to the site. You'll find plenty of good and accurate information here. Any questions you have will be honestly answered. Be sure to put a pin on the member map located under the "Fun Stuff" at the top of the page. Though the car was badged as a Boss 351, I'm sure you know that those were only offered for 1971. For 1972 there was the detuned 351HO and nothing for 1973. I believe that I'm correct. If not, someone on here will be quick to correct me. I hope you enjoy the build! Keep us updated on your progress.
  7. Vinnie, Try this link. It should tell you all you need to know about a 521 Big Block Ford; http://www.hotrod.com/articles/0906phr-big-block-ford-engine/ And Merry Christmas!
  8. Hello and welcome from the Alabama Gulf Coast.

  11. Hello and welcome from Mobile, along the Gulf Coast. Maybe this link will assist you in finding / locating the VIN; http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-help-identifying-a-1973-mach-1-how-to-locate-vin
  12. Hello and welcome to the site from a relatively close neighbor, Mobile. There are several of us in the area, one joined very recently. There is a boat load of info here. And if you can't find what you need, all you have to do is ask.
  13. mwilson7, There is not a chance of me posting a pic as long as it is literally buried in the garage. At this moment it would be considered a "barn find". I have to finish one project at a time and this one isn't it. I'm in process of getting the racer on track and that will take at least another year. There's just not enough money to go around. If you really want to see something, you need to check out Kevin's garage. He did have (2) "R" code verts in his collection. That makes three of the 13 produced '72 "R" codes in Alabama. Check this out; http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-my-9-verts-on-a-car-hauler
  14. Hello and welcome from Mobile. Good luck with your endeavor.
