  1. So that's a single din with a double din fixed down. Looks great as it doesn't look like it blocks the a/c - heat controls. Question??? 1) I wonder if you could have gone a little wider screen to cover the OEM radio control holes? Anything else you can say about this and the install would be great.
  2. There's a local photographer looking to do a photo shoot next April/May for a calendar, Sent him a pic of Christine and he liked her. So all is looking good. Said to me would I mind a model standing next to the car and/or draped over the hood. HMMM??? Not really crazy about the hood, but WTH. Mentioned it to the Mrs. and said....YOU FLIP OUT WITH ME FOR GETTING FINGERPRINTS ON THE CAR AND NOW YOU'RE GOING TO ALLOW A MODEL LAY ON TOP OF THE HOOD. Figured by now you realize I'm not doing the Photo shoot.
  3. From what I heard, that unit hangs a little over the heat/ac controls. But still not a bad option.
  4. Just out of curiosity, looked for it at NPD and didn't find it.
  5. That single din with flip was just an example. Thanks
  6. Someone I know on another group is in the process of installing a double din as we speak. Asked him for pics and video's of the install.
  7. Is this a single din flip up? As an example. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Single-DIN-In-Dash-Android-9-0-Car-Stereo-Head-Unit-7inch-Retractable-Touch-Screen-Radio-Audio-Video-Receiver-System-GPS-Navigation-Bluetooth-WiFi-US/493366795?wmlspartner=wmtlabs&adid=22222222222296266085&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=75385374966313&wl4=pla-4578984925020852:aud-807612879&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=& wl10=Walmart&wl12=493366795_10000005807&wl14=single din flip up&veh=sem This could def work, but wondering if there's a single din that looks OEM and flips. Thanks
  8. Has anyone thought about installing a double din radio with GPS and Bluetooth?
  9. I picked these up yesterday. Thoughts??? https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/felpro-valve-cover-gasket-set-vs-13264-t/18180034-P?searchTerm=valve cover gasket Going to also pick up a set of exhaust extension studs as a guide to make sure the gasket and valve cover are lined up properly and once set will remove the extension stud one at a time and replace them with the studs that came with the valve cover.
  10. UPDATE....Sort of Took a deep breath and started doing some research on rear main seal leaks. One possibility is the valve cover leaking and not the rear main seal. I know my drivers side nearer to the firewall wall valve cover does have a slight leak. Now I did have Christine out today for a belated Mustang Day cruise and did 230 miles. So before I do anything else with the Rear Main Seal, going to change that valve cover gasket. Can anyone recommend the best gasket to buy? Cross your fingers and hope for the best.
  11. I think my rear main seal is leaking...not bad....but it is as I saw a few very lite drops of oil on the garage floor after pulling her in. What really gets me is that the engine and trans were rebuilt about 5 years ago and I only drive about 1,000 miles a year. Guess I could leave it alone and check the oil level whenever I take her out and put her back in the garage. Or, before it gets worse and I need to bring it into a shop to fix, any idea what the cost would be as I know it's not a easy job or cheap? 302 C4. Thanks
  12. Just saw this thread. My 1971 Gremlin.

  14. ...and here I am struggling with driving 4.5 hours from New Jersey. Maybe we can get a number of us to go next year as a group from this site?
  15. Going back 4.5 years, 73pony here was able to create and bend a new S tube for the power steering pump as my old one was leaking and finding a used one is about impossible.
  16. Ordered the one from RockAuto. Thanks
  17. The A/C is leaking and I've been told that the Accumilator Drier is the cause of the leak. 1973 Mustang Factory A/C 302 Is there a difference between these two or does it matter which one I purchase? https://www.partsgeek.com/c425nnt-ford-mustang-ac-receiver-drier.html?utm_source=shopzilla&utm_medium=pf&utm_content=dcs&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+ShopZilla&fp=pp&utm_term=Ford+A%2FC+Receiver+Drier https://www.cjponyparts.com/cj-classics-air-conditioner-filter-drier-1971-1973/p/CAA12104/?year=1973&msclkid=ebdf3efd71cc1e01705e61d55c2b1423&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=New Bing Shopping Ads&utm_term=1101201851785&utm_content=All Products
  18. HMMM??? Guess I could purchase this and be able to save my oem radio bezel just in case. https://www.cjponyparts.com/ken-harrison-radio-bezel-aftermarket-single-din-black-1971-1973/p/RB15/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwpZT5BRCdARIsAGEX0zkrWw3tBHcBUSsjBMFJ6uQ2nvrVsGTBLqO7ImeBrEsU0dM2khhgsvUaAriGEALw_wcB
