  1. Thanks Don, but since my 73 is far from original, can't see going for $70 single mast, when I can get the adjustable mast for under $20 from you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HMMM??? Before i start pulling out the whole antenna. is the mast replaceable by itself? Does it somehow screw off? The 20 one is a generic hooks under the fender and has a screw on cap version Here's a pic of my antenna. Before I pull the chrome cover off, could this be one that screws off once the cover is off? (The mark to the left of the cover is just a light reflection). Hmmm??? Took the cover off and did try to unscrew it...No good and didn't want to force the issue and break it off. Anything special to unscrew? Pretty sure it's OEM and possibly on the car since 1990 when it was restored. Of course should I force to unscrew and it breaks off, solves the problem of replacing just the mast or the whole antenna...LOL
  2. IMO the 28k is way overpriced. Save the 10k on the price as you can customized it more to your liking.
  3. Busy today, but tomorrow I'll see if I can unscrew it. Thanks

  5. The very top button broke off on my 73 antenna. I found a video and wonder is that all there is to change as the Mustang in the video is a 65/66. Looking to avoid any surprises. Thanks
  6. That's about how I cut mine to look. Thanks Rich.
  7. Even though the boot cover is older, it always bothered me that the top hinges always pushed on the boot cover. So upon another members advice here (rackerm) decided to add the pads using 1" foam. Here's the before and after. Maybe in the near future I'll buy a new boot cover and do that one so there's no worn marks on it.
  8. First, I would like to say that I'm embarrassed as Christine was like this when I got her 6.5 years ago, but never thought about changing it or how bad it looked (it was OEM and it looks like someone used crayons to color it in). Why the screw was there I can only guess as the bottom plate tri-bar came loose (not the screw that holds it in place) and instead of gluing it....well Second, thank you to Don (OMS) for having this in stock, unlike CJ Pony and getting it to me in about 36 hours. Third, thank you to Rich (rackerm) as we met last Sunday at a show and I saw how good his Tri-bar Mustang looked. Here's a pic of the one that came with Christine and the new one from OMS.
  9. ...and to think, I'm still running a dot matrix printer.
  10. Sounds good. But after winning 2 beer towers at the South Jersey 39th Mustang show yesterday, I have all the beer I need. did you make the family walk home It was only me at the show...Lucky.
  11. You freakin had me for a second. :bravo:
  12. Good chance CJ's will still mess something up, so Don still has a chance LOL!! I always try to order from OMS! Cant beat the no hassle service. But I always try and hassle you Kevin :whistling: Guess someone knew better than I. Got the email from CJ that the part is out of stock and on back order. So, Don I will order it from you as I should have done in the first place. Thanks Done Thanks again.
  13. Wish I knew before. If by chance CJ Pony doesn't come through I will order from you. Thanks
  14. I can pee better beer. Really rolling the dice.... FWIW, I'd rather pay the extra money twice over to NPD given the utter shenanigans that CJ is known for. Even if you discount 80% of CJ's issues to their customers, that's still a pretty terrible track record. Time will tell. Thanks
  15. Sounds good. But after winning 2 beer towers at the South Jersey 39th Mustang show yesterday, I have all the beer I need. In that case I'll send you my address - you ship me the beer - I send you the pony! Oh man, to late. I just ordered the Pony from CJ. Thanks

  17. Previous owner drilled a hole to place a screw through the bottom to hold it in place. Figured it was time to replace it.
  18. Looking to replace my grill ornament tri color running horse as it's a little beat up. I can only find it at NPD and the price is $21.50 which I'm ok with. Just bugs me to pay $9.00 for shipping. https://www.npdlink.com/product/ornament-grille/106213 Anyone know of another source? Thanks
  19. I had a Ravelco installed when I got Christine 6.5 years ago and watched the install. There is NO way they can hotwire/jump or do anything to start the car. They want it, they will need to tow it. My plug is under the dash, so you can't even see where to insert the male plug to match up. Paid $500 but feel that's it well worth it. https://www.ravelco.com/
  20. I pulled the old one off to line up the holes with the new piece. Make sure the new slits are small so you can just push the new plastic pins into it.
  21. Attended the SJMC 39th Annual Mustang and Ford Show hosted by Holman Ford in Maple Shade, NJ. Having a 73 Mustang, I'm usually the loneliest guy at the shows because our model years 71-73 aren't the most popular. But this year I had the pleasure of meeting Richard (rackerm) from Delaware and a member of our group. Great guy and very knowledgeable about our Mustangs. There was a 72 Grande (Paul) and while not a member, he will be joining us. So a lot of conversation and learning today. Richard won 1st place for the 64.5 -73 unmodified category and Paul won 3rd place. Here's a pic of Richard's and Paul's great looking Mustangs. Mine was in the modified 64.5 - 73 and therefore no trophy for me.....but please don't feel bad as I won not 1, but 2 beer towers.....Oh yeah!!! Luckily the wife stayed home or I would have needed to call an Uber for her.
