  1. Hey Members, It’s been awhile since I’ve been on here...missing the Mustang Talk. I moved from California to Arizona this past year and been busy buying a home, establishing a new job, and dealing with the crazy 2020 year. My fiancé and I are in the Tucson area, but plan on being around Phoenix by the middle of next year. I just accepted a job in Phoenix so for now I’ll just be Air BnB’ing it during the week until we make our way up here for good. I hope everyone’s staying safe out there during these crazy time. I do also plan on getting another 71-73 this coming year, so that will keep me busy once again and bring a lot more time spent on here :D
  2. Thanks guys for the replies... I took it into a shop yesterday because I was out of town when it happened, and the rear was leaking a lot on drivers side. Something definitely gave out and came apart. It will be a few days and definitely a few bills later but will have to go back to get her mid week.
  3. Hey Guys, I just drove my ‘66 about 40miles down the road, and just before I was getting ready to arrive at my destination my brake pedal was making me push all the way down (almost like the air affect) and the front brakes are squeling now a little. Just started doing the is and no, I haven’t touched the brakes at all. Any suggestions as what it could be???
  4. Video link: https://youtu.be/4qDAi6tVU2c If anyone knows someone looking for a great condition, non-abused, 1966 Mustang, let them know I have one for sale here in CA. Runs and drives well. PM me. Asking $15k.
  5. T [attachment=47663]1966 Mustang Solid condition inside and out. Always been in CA. Have service records that go all the way back to 1974. PM me for details/questions Has an original straight six in it. Auto transmission. Runs and drives well. $16k Better pics to come..
  6. Hi. I’m not sure of the transmission..previous owner didn’t say. I’ll have to take a look later and see where they end up.
  7. Additional Photos: The hoses in the first two photos, are the ones I am not sure where they hook into?
  8. Hi Guys- As you may have read on another thread, I recently purchased a '74 Comet. It has what I believe is a 302 engine and a Edelbrock Carb. Anyways...I went to start the car this morning, made it down the street and as I rolled to the first traffic light, the car rumbled and died. Started her right back up and it died again. Made it back home and let it sit. Fast forward to tonight, I looked at the fuel filter, it's getting gas fine. Then I pulled the air filter off and came across two hoses not plugged in. uh huh... Only due to my lack of being mechanically incline in this department, I can't figure out where this hooks into. It's the t-shape looking hose that goes into one hose. I looked behind the carb and can't see any opening. The closest part of the carb in the pick is capped off. So any help would be great. The second hose I spoke of, I didn't take a photo of but can provide more detailed photos tomorrow as I work on it. Anyone who has a moment to spare where I can email pics too or speak to, please feel free to reach out. Seems as simple as hooking things up but as of now can't find where it plugs too. Also, when I rev the engine, the car squels a little. My maintenance guy at work said that this is due to the belts being loose and just need to be tightened? Any thoughts here? Thanks
  9. J Hi Guys- It’s been ages since I’ve been on here, but wanted to reach out as I recently picked up a 1974 Mercury Comet here in Central CA. It’s running now and actually doesn’t drive too bad. It’s a clean title with what I believe is the 302 motor in it. The interior is really clean in it. Looking to get $8,500 obo. Will post more pics when Incan. Overall not a bad car. A work in progress

  11. Lol, true. I called my scrap yard and they were only going to give me like 2 cents a pound....I'd spend more on gas taking it over there, especially in Cali.
  12. I have one part left to get rid of if anyone is in need? Only $25+shipping as I am sure shipping will probably be around $40 due to size/weight. PM me if interested. Thanks
  13. I have a couple of 71-73 parts that I am looking to get rid of. See pics. Only $30 for all, plus shipping PM me if interested. Thanks.
