  2. I had the clock fixed and I am going to put the console back in with the clock. I don't remember if the wire ran under the carpet or on top under the console. plus there a wire clip on the harness where does this clip too. I should have taken some photos when i took it apart. John J
  3. The wire for my truck light is not right. I was wondering if anyone has a photo of the routing of the wire. Mine is just kind of hanging in the bottom of the trunk. It should have been clipped to something I think. John J
  4. John glad to hear you got the trans problem resolved. Hopefully the weather improves so we can drive them. I am tired of all the rain. John J
  5. John if your looking for a new place to get your trans fixed. I recommend Oval Repairs in Livonia. They do nice work and you can deal with the owner. They specialized in old Fords but will work on other cars. They fixed my leaky C6 and have no issues since then. Here their link. https://www.yelp.com/biz/oval-repair-livonia John J
  6. Nice Vert. Looks like it was stored properly. Very nice Car. John J

  10. John, are you talking about the "quick screw" nuts that go on the 4 plastic posts? Why would you take the clock out to fit carpet? Not sure what you're meaning. Can you elaborate? As for the one NPD show, I couldn't find them, but I may be able to find something that will work at my local 'fix-it' store on Monday. Actually, I need to find the same thing, so I'll go look anyways. Geoff. Yes I should have given more info. I took the clock out to send it rocket man to have it fixed. Lost the nuts and can't seem to find them anywhere. John J

  12. Took my console out to put in new carpet and misplace the fastener that hold the clock in place. Who sells them ? NPD has some that look similar but it said there for a 1970 mustang. John J
  13. Nice black convertible. Looked like a great day for a cruise. John J
  14. Great looking convertible. John J
  15. I drove the car for the second time this year. I had driven about a block from the house and the brake light came on. I stopped and pump the brake a few times and it went off. I check the master cylinder and the fluid level was ok. No sign of any fluid on the driveway or in the street. I drove it again about 2 hours late no light and no sign of any leaks. Bad brake light switch ??? Or something else? I have a new master cylinder and booster. John J
  16. Looking forward to watching Michigan State in the final 4 this weekend. GO GREEN !!!! John J

  19. Not in Michigan winter is still around.. I just got my car back from the shop and want to drive it. I had the leaking C6 rebuilt and the noisy PS pump replaced. I still need to replace one of the dash light and put the clock and console back in if it ever warms up so I can work on it. I am sick of winter!!! John J
