  1. I had a bent flange on my green car, And yes your right it creates a wobble you would have felt when driving. Checking the receipts from the p.o. I see a bill for new axle bearings and pressing them on. SO who ever pressed on the bearings damaged the flange very easy to do if your not careful. Had to buy a new axle and new bearings. YOU HAVE TO STRESS TO THE SHOP TO BE CAREFUL !!! pressing on the new bearings.
  2. Pm me I have a shop in Ct on the N.Y. border and depending on what part of Jersey I may be able to do it (check out 1 of my mustangs here just posted a vid up) http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-austin-vert-s-latest-videos?pid=269995#pid269995 I'm also a licensed appraiser.

  6. Hi Scott, Thanks heaps, and i'm glad you like the old girl. You've got some drop dead beautiful cars as well. Why not do a quick shoot like me and show the pride as well.::thumb:: Greg.:) I think I will, Beautiful weather here today and was planning a ride anyway :D
  7. Thats a common issue I've seen quite a lot on cars that have had a quarter panel section or any part of the wheel arch replaced. Very few people check for symmetry the distance of the wheel arch fender lip to the inner wheel house or a good known point on the unibody when replacing panels.
  8. http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Power-Heads/Wildomar-California/Power-Heads-and-Ralph-Pici-paid-2000-for-bad-cam-install-and-head-work-wont-refund-1222958
  9. No, But I do have the same N.O.S. hood only in better shape no damage at all I might let go for 1500.00 -Such a deal-:whistling: On the other hand maybe I should hold on to it for another 10 years or so better than money in the bank ::thumb:: I also have a nos rear valance with cut outs -Wonder how much that might be worth down the road
  10. I have this if your interested can do 125.00 plus shipping http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-holley-750-double-pumper

  12. I hope your going to bag the car (wrap in painters plastic) To protect from overspray solvent in the air
  13. +1 on that::thumb:: Same here Manual steering but with 245's and full sot coilover conversion. It's amazing what a great workout it really is around town, but no sweat on the highways. You really can feel, Your driving the car, and at the end of a long drive you do feel it in your arms BUT it's a great feeling nothing like it. Truly in touch with the road and your car. ::thumb::
  14. Doing just the floor and the trunk isn't going to cure soundproof the car. The inner quarter panels-inner wheels houses-outer wheelhouses act like a big drum and amplify everything. You need more than spraying second skin. On my car I made a rear block off panel from the trunk behind the rear seat covered in raam mat, ensolite and foam sheet http://www.raamaudio.com/categories/Mat-and-Foam-Products/ in addition to doing the entire car this way including inside the doors- floors- dash, I then got thin sheets of water proof packing foam and stuffed inside the rear quarters-also used the ensolite on the inside of the rear interior panels. Car is ultra quite !!!
  15. I know that but you still need a "revel molding" like the new cars Thats what I curious about. Something like this http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/showline/offerpage.aspx?ProductID=12722&GroupID=21027&History=30587:19748:19783:20834:19783:21020&ModelID=21027&pom=0 Is that meant to be installed inside the car on the window frame, or what do you mean? :) outside between the glass and the metal edge
  16. It won't have any weatherstrip, I will use that black ''glue'' that are made for glass when I mount it. I dont know what you call that product in English ? :D I dont know yet how the interior will be. I hope to make a one-piece headliner :) I know that but you still need a "revel molding" like the new cars Thats what I curious about. 17. Nice work :coolphotos: So flush mount whats the plan for the gasket or weather strip material and I'm assuming your going to cut back the interior ledge
  18. You should before it's gone top notch car ::thumb:: Theres actually a show this saturday at Stop & shop and Danbury auto spring My shop is right up the road http://www.eventdaddy.net/danbury/danbury-armed-forces-day-car-truck-motorcycle-show/
  19. 4.5" in the front and 5.15" in the rear Looks good from the pictures. Are you 100% happy with the backspacing or would you tweak it a bit one way or the other in the front or rear? I think it's pretty good for a off the shelf wheel theres not much you can really do (thats the only back space available) except move them out a bit 1/4" ? with spacers but then your in the fender lip rolling game.
  20. Nice :) A little VIP treatment is always good :coolphotos:
