Hi all, I have a 72 Mach 1, 351c, top loader 4 speed with Hurst shifter. What would cause you not to be able to shift into 3rd or 4th but you can shift into reverse, 1st and 2nd but after you shift a few times from reverse to 1st to 2nd then it will shift into 3rd and 4th. This has happened twice in the last week but never happened before that. Thanks in advance fro any and all responses. Jeff

Hi all, my wife and I are the proud owners of a 1972 R code. It is bright red with a vermillion interior, and all the goodies that came with the R code option plus functional ram air and aftermarket air conditioning. It was a frame off restoration in 2004 and will be featured in the June 2014 issue of Mustang Monthly magazine.

I want to thank everyone for all the nice comments about our car and I wish I had the time to look at all the Mustangs on the sight and do the same. I have seen a lot of very very nice cars on the sight and would like to say they are all great looking cars, So to all I say your cars look great!!!!

Ponypastor, I know our car came from Florida but I do not know which part. The previous owners wife did not like the car so he traded it to a dealer in Michigan for a Porsche. I purchased the car in 2009 from that dealer. Our car is not totally original, it has functional ram air, air conditioning and updated radio with a cd player in the trunck and a 71 gas cap but we love it the way it is.
