  1. They had called me a few times because they a few cancelation at the last moment. I had to decline.
  2. I had 3 TA's fail in the last 10 years. The first one about rip my driver side off in Sidney Nebraska on our way to Hot August night, but it didn't blow out. The other 2 just broke the belts. Needless to say, I don't do them anymore. The fender hangs on my wall of shame.
  3. I ordered my 72 mach and I don't remembered if radials were available, but I did opt. whitewall that were Firestone wide ovals E70/14

    Dream Cruise

Most anything involving large gatherings from small fairs to car events are canceled here in PA into October. If there is a second wave, next year may not be better.
  5. My last visit down there proved all the unbelievable rumors I kept hearing. It's government out of control and coming to a country near you...
  6. It's always good to have some kind of thick coating on the top underside for when a stone gets throwed up there. Pimples never look good no matter where they are.
  7. Had a 670 avenger that I could never get it run right even after many $$$ and time. Tried a 770 later that was an improvement straight out of box, but still needed some work. It needed the 50cc acc. pump, bigger squirter, different cam profile. jet changes and the list goes on. It finally would work with the mod. parts that came off the 670 that never works My opinion is the avenger series aren't good carbs for just everybody. Some say they had good luck with them, others no. I finally went with a used Holley 650 DP because it is a stick car, and has worked since day one. The 670 is now just garage art.
  8. I dumped the R12 for R134 in the 72 mach that still had OE everything (40 plus yrs old stuff) at the time. It work fine for 10 yrs. Then one day, I decided to do a GOOD THING and replace them old hoses and compressor and the SAID NEEDED condenser made for R134. It worked NO BETTER. It now has a slow leak or leaks that can't be found even took the evap. out pressure tested. Should have just left everything alone. Lessen learned.

  10. Nothing really wrong with drums. Disc are dummies that don't know how to stop safely when it rains.
  11. If they needed more air, that's where the front spoiler came in
  12. I hate to ask what the scissor are for
  13. Must be the first one ever sold to find this out now
  14. I have done a few for myself. It's a learning experience.
  15. Sounds like the carb needs a little jetting up.
  16. Beware that some replacements rubber is poor quality that begin cracking shortly after.
  17. Well you never heard it from me, but a jack or long digging iron placed in the right spot is a very useful tool to have sometimes
  18. A lot of non a/c cars never got the cooler and a few parts cars I've collective over the years with a/c didn't also. They all got the longer loop hose. Ordering district might have made the difference if it did or didn't
  19. Never As much as I try park where no one else would, there's always well lets just drop it there.
  20. Remembering back as I was ordering my 72 mach the salesman saying I still had my choice of which hood. Well no kid going to go for the flat one. Today it would be rare order, maybe a one of one and worth more, but I still don't want the flat one.
  21. Depends how easy you are on it. Ford had a reason for using 9" on all 351 and up.
  22. The old seal and bearing should have a part # on them.
  23. Some of the early one ( 20 yrs ago) were Ford LTD. They didn't fit as good as original mustang without some work.
