  1. Greetings from Los Angeles - good story and nice looking ride. It seems like the original exterior color was either Medium Blue Poly or Grabber Blue - are you going to keep it white?
  2. Thanks everyone for the kind words and welcome. I have posted a few more pictures to the link in my intro, and have also posted some of those pictures into a photo album on this board, including the window sticker (a repro, but the same as the tattered original I have). A few more details on the car. It is not a restored vehicle; it was just carefully taken care of and maintained for the last nearly 40 years, with a few upgrades. The roof was replaced in the late 2000s with a factory version that my father obtained in the 1970s. The wheels are not what originally came with the car - which came only with hubcaps. In fact, the wheels are technically 1973 Cougar wheels (I am told there are small differences) with Mustang inserts. Parts of the car have been repainted, but some of the paint is original. I have some pictures of the car taken in our driveway in Livonia, Michigan in the 1970s which I will scan and post (someday).
  3. Wasn't sure if I qualified as an original owner or not. My father purchased the car directly from Ford. It was driven as a company car for 7-8 months before my father bought it. He then gifted it over to me in 2012. The window sticker says: SOLD TO: FORD MOTOR COMPANY RM492-17101 ROTUNDA DR DEARBORN, MI 18121 SHIP TO: FORD DIV G.O. GARAGE 17101 ROTUNDA DR DEARBORN, MI
  4. Hi, I'm Wayne, and I own a 1973 Mustang Convertible, invoice date June 22, 1973, VIN 254646, 302 2V, medium blue metallic with a black top. This car was originally sold to Ford Motor Company, was in the executive car pool, and then was "tagged" by my father, who worked for Ford, in early 1974. I started driving the car in 1975 when I got my learner's permit, and drove it through the end of high school. The car has not been driven much since, and has just over 46K original miles.
