  3. worked better than some of the stuff i bought, still rubbed mothers in after but the coke helped get off the surface rust and actually did a nice shine too it. figure the mothers will help it last

  6. I'm thinking about installing a line lock and curious where people mounted their indicator light, I kinda want to avoid drilling in the dash. Since I'm running the stock automatic shifter i don't have and accessory button so do you just keep the activation switch laying near your shifter? Any brand recommendations?

  8. not sure if this is where to post, but o'reilly's had the grant steering wheel puller on the clearance shelf for $2.27 so i finally got around to throwing the wheel on i bought 2 years ago. might be worth checking out if you're in the market for one might get lucky like i did.
  9. Finally started working on the 72 after i parked it last year. First off it held a charge without being started for a year so thats cool, put a thermostat in and took it to the side street to open it up. No overheat and found a hidden mechanic shop. He came out to see the noise and we got to talking and he has a 71 mach. Told him about the forum maybe he'll join up.

  12. I did order the guide plate conversion also for the rockers. What's the best way to check the cam? I figure with the price of cams if I had to pull it it would be best to replace? I'm having a mechanic work on it, and I live 3 hours from where the car is. Sooooo I have to do the trust thing while it's in the shop. Mechanic said its runnin smooth, idling nice, just that tapping. Would a bad cam have any noticeable problems without tearing into it?
