I bumped into this on craigslist and I'm arranging a scouting trip because these aren't too far from me. Anybody interested in anything in particular I need to look for? I'm not sure exactly what he has and neither does he but I'm going to find out. He's wouldn't price anything so it may be a dead end. He claimed to have sold early bronco parts for 30K so it might be a Barrett Jackson syndrome bust, but I'm going to check it out anyway http://tippecanoe.craigslist.org/pts/4937016818.html P.S. He added that he has a complete 72 Grande 351 2V w/air that might be bought as well.

This has been a good thread for me, however, I'm still on the fence. 1. I hate the '73 bumper 2. I really like the 71-2 urethane look 3. I really like the 71 all chrome look the paradox... I have everything needed to go either way The urethane bumper and painted extensions have huge mechanical feel and look but leave me feeling like they have a "plastic" look as well. The chrome and chrome look is a fantastic contrast feature and teases toward a "Shelbyish" look but it makes me feel like the car looks "older" than it should. Gads... I'll probably go without either one at

'73 White on White Pearl Metallic Vert
1972MustangSVH replied to Austin Vert's topic in 71-73 Mustang Talk
As much as much as I am endeared to our hood paint and hockey sticks I think this car doesn't need it. As a matter of fact the vert breaks up the paint with mechanical detail enough that this car is rather striking. It looks like a little sweet piece of candy sitting there. However, <--- (there's always one of these) If I listen to the "hot rod' side of me and felt it necessary to add some accents. I would have the hood paint and side stripes "ghosted" into the clear with bright silver of light charcoal for a ethereal affect. Mmmmm, mmmmm -

Mercury Capri v6 builder - $1 (south)
1972MustangSVH replied to 71mach1lady's topic in Craigslist, eBay and Online Ads
One of the things I like about this site is the lack of bias. I had forgotten about those and it good to have the occasional refresher. Even though the Capri's weren't / aren't my thing they have fallen into the category where they are getting old enough to be a little appreciated. The hot rodder in me see's a hole under the hood begging for a smokin' small block.
