  1. https://vimeo.com/201577205 1972 351C 2V just started "whistling" mainly at idle in park but sometimes on acceleration and deceleration. You can "feel" the whistle on this bracket. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Mine is also shot. Thanks for the part number. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'd like a pair for my 72. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ended up being brake booster. Also had to replace proportioning valve. Installed new master cylinder as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes, I still have a stock carb, and I know it needs to warm up. Just can't understand, other than it being an old car, why most days it doesn't stall and today it did. Also stalled 3 more times while idle at a stop over about a 10 min ride. I'm in Houston and the temps were in the 70's. That hasn't happened in quite awhile.
  6. I have a 72 with the 351-2V engine. On a cold start, it sometimes stalls when I put it in reverse to back out of the garage. Driveway is on an incline (don't know if that has anything to do with it). To help avoid it stalling, I let it idle 3-5 min or so in park (it idles fine in park). That doesn't always work. Usually drives fine once I get it on the road and warmed up.
  7. I have a 72 Convertible and I am getting a water leak on the passenger side floor pan which I presume is from a leak in the cowl. Is there a band aide fix even if its temporary?
  8. Has anyone purchased wheels and tire kit already balanced from CJ's PonyParts?
  9. My 1972 convertible came with E70x14 white sidewall tires and wheel covers. I would like to go with the magnum wheels - were they an option for the convertible?
  10. My car is a 1972 so I would like to go with the right grille on it - wish it was a 73!
  11. Have a 72 with a 73 grille and sport lamps. I bought the 72 grille repro with sport lamps and found the proper sport lamps. The hood latch hole in the grille on a 73 is left of center and the hole is in the center of the grill on the 72 - is the hood latch different between a 72 and 73? The 72 grille has 6 screw holes in the honeycomb around the grille ornament. I don't see anything on my car that would line up with these holes. Any pics on a 72 grille regarding these areas would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jason
  12. I have a 72 mustang and my marti report shows original tires to be E70X14. Currently I have the magnum rims on it. I assume the original spec'd tire will fit on the magnum rims? Any thoughts on brands and best source?
