  1. Nice car!! I think on the coupes they have a cleaner look without the spoiler. The lines flow better. Ryan
  2. Thanks guys for the compliments. All I did was cut the top part of the ends of the bumper at the V, heated and hammered it inwards to better get it to line up with the fender end caps then rewelded . As for stripping it I just used a grinder with a flap wheel and ground all the chrome off, then I used a DA sander with 80 grit, epoxy primed, then Slicksand, block sanded, sealed it then painted. Ryan
  3. When I bought my Mach 1 it didn’t have the urethane bumper. I ended up using a chrome one. I didn’t use the seals to fender, instead I stripped the chrome, cut the ends of the bumper on top, hammered them inward to better align with the fenders so it didn’t stick out on the ends, rewelded and then painted it body color. I then shimmed the bumper up to get the gap on the sides to match up. To me it looks better than with the seals. Just another idea. Ryan
  4. Just watched part 3 and 4, great progress! Also, I like your choice in music. Ryan
  5. Love the video update! Looks like a nice project, bringing back a lot of memories when doing mine. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged. Ryan
  6. This link may help show you how and where to mount the supplement kit. This is how I did mine. https://7173mustangs.com/forums/topic/24503-new-glass-install/ Hope this helps, Ryan
  7. You have to buy a supplement kit. Here is a link where it has been discussed. Ryan https://7173mustangs.com/forums/topic/33790-window-felt/?tab=comments#comment-365505
  8. Nice project, keep up the good work! Ryan
  9. Rebuild your old pump or have someone rebuild it. I bought a new Cardone pump. It's made in China. It's very noisy, whines. Not happy with it. I'm going to have my old one rebuilt.
  10. Nice ride, what brand and size of wheels are you running? Ryan
  11. It has to be real....if it's on the internet. Right?
  12. This is what I have, 18x8 front, 245/45/18 Nittos, 18x9 rear, 285/40/18 Nittos, 5.25 backspacing, US Bandit Wheels. No problems with clearance, could easily go with a 18x10 with more backspacing Hope this helps. Ryan.
  13. This is what I did. Ryan https://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-center-gauges?highlight=Center+gauges
  14. I bought the door side glass from them but I bought direct thru them not the eBay store. Good quality and packed well for shipping. I ordered the glass with no logos on them. I think you can get them with or without logo and date codes. Ryan
  15. This is how I did mine. I didn't want to cut into my new center bezel so i mounted the gauges behind it, no cutting. https://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-center-gauges?highlight=Center+gauges
  16. Looks good Mike, glad your making some progress.
  17. Windlace trim, use a heavy duty B8 stapler to install. Ryan
  18. Car looks great, it will look even better when you start adding all the trim! Ryan
  19. Yes, the sail panel material does wrap around the pinch weld for the window. Sail panel installed first, then the rear window. If you already have the rear window installed, you can still install the sail panel afterwards. I had to do this on my red car. Just trim some of the excess material of the sail panel and use some adhesive and tuck it under the weatherstrip inside lip. Ryan
  20. Keep up the good work Mike, you’ll get it done. I’m going on 13 yrs for for Mach. Ryan
  21. $25 shipping back to Illinois. Didn’t think that was that bad. Ryan
