I sold my 69 Mach 1 last month and am looking around for a nice 71/72 Mustang. The other day I put deeper dish Torq Thrusts on my Challenger.

Would have to be a GT40 Mk2. Always loved them.

Stunning car

It will be viewed in time as an embarrassment to the Mustang name and will be used by "sporty" Mum's on the school run. And when asked about Mustangs they will get confused between the Mach E and the mighty Mach 1.

How about the 72 and that 59 Les Paul you’ve got tucked away!

It's the A66 which is basically an R/T with a small block engine and an auto. Drives nicely but no power steering a drums all around. The Mustang drives a load better. Here are some more shots: And at my local for a jar with both cars:

Hi All, well after selling my beloved 72 vert to fund the purchase of a 69 Mach 1, I came into funds again and tried to find another 71-73 in the UK, but prices have gone crazy over here. They now seem to start from $32,000 for a basic 302 vert to $48,000 for 351C. And that's with our weak exchange rate at the moment. That's more than double what we were paying a few years back. People are really starting to like them over here. I got close to buying a Q code but you all talked me out of this, see below. And very little has come along since. https://www.7173mustangs.com/thr

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. Yes that paint looks far to good, my guess is there’s bondo under there as you say. Seen plenty of cars come in from the States where the whole car has bondo under the paint. We don’t get that here in the UK.

Thanks for your replies. I've got a double garage so have space for a 71/72. Some good observations. It's come from Canada, not the driest part of the world. The seller has lowered the price by 25% in the last week, so some prospective buyer has seen the car and told them it needs more work. Shame, it does look nice and I do miss my old 72.

Hi Guys, Would be grateful for your opinion on this 72 Q Code please? It's cheap but needs some work. Should I buy it? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Mustang-Mach-1/223083703835?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Nice guitaring!! And that's a crazy looking guitar. I was in Luxembourg last week, staying in Mensdorf, was looking out for a yellow vert when traveling around but no luck.
