Looks good Jim !!  What is the stencil # from Graphics?  If you would please.

I still dont have my car back from the painters, its been 4 .5 months.  Might have to go with legal actions. You know.....take your money then give excuses as to why its not done.

That happened to me and I had to get all my mustang parts out with a flashlight after the shop went out of business.

  2. I have been on Facebook mostly.  Trying to close my mother’s estate so I can work on my car.

bike wreck 7 yrs ago has started to cause more problems.  Guessing early October they will burn the nerves on the right side of my back to free me of burning nerve pain in my shoulder.  The pay have done both sides of my neck.  Nerves grow back, but if I can get past the pain I can hopefully uild enough muscle to hold me together.

i sure as shit wish I had not listened to the dr and not do shit while I healed.  Loss of muscle mass has haunted my ever since.

on it being dead I offered a free rear windo and an 8” rear.  No takers.  Used to be people that wanted that stuff to make cars period correct. Doesn’t seem to be that way anymore.

  3. Spoiler

    Come get me!

Complete rear out of a 73 base 302 coupe.  Open diff.  Highway gears.  Working when pulled years ago.  It was stood up on both tires at one point or another and the gear oil filled the drums.  So plan on some maintenance.

it is in Richardson, Texas.  (Suburb of Dallas)

free to good home.  I will help load it, but prefer not to ship.  Wheels not included.

  4. Thanks for this info. Very excited to get this as a kit. I'll just be using the regular Sniper for my 408C so that pump should be plenty.

If you use the 340 pump make sure your return lines are big enough.  If not you will have to much back pressure that might lead to pump issues.

With my 408 being a mid one with around 550FWHP should I go with the 200LHP pump? I just wouldn't ever want to fall short of fuel. I figure the regulator could adjust for whats needed? Thoughts?

I would go with the 340.  Just make sure the return lines are the same size or one step down AN and make sure you don’t have any kinks in the line.  Holley said I was right on the line for a smaller pump at 500hp.  Well over once they factored in forced induction.

I think the main deal is you may need the super sniper’s extra injectors.  I would consult Holley on that.

  5.  John, I'll have to check those out. If they do the job, nice sound, no drone, I'm interested. I may just go ahead and get a pair before Dearborn, but then I've been putting off doing the exhaust for the last 10 years!! A few more weeks won't make much difference.

From what I was able to find out on the Sonic Turbo mufflers, they are old school 80's style mufflers. On a forum I found, one guy thought they were bought out by Dynomax and are now Dynomax Turbo or maybe Super Turbo.

So, how long have you had yours and where did you get them? I could not find an active listing for them for sale.

    Geoff.

Summit it sells a fully welded “turbo” muffler.  Under $40.  Might be worth a look.

  7. This is good stuff guys. I'll have to check with Holley to see if the Aeromotive one would work with their system. I'm pretty sure the specs are close to the Walbro pump they offer in some of their kits? I noticed though in the application section it shows only for the 71-72 mustang 351C boss. Is the tank the same for the 73?

It will.  It was the one I mentioned to them as they don’t have a holler tank for the 71-73.

i was ok with the 340 for a super sniper with the big throttle body when I asked which system they recommended for me with my 351c and a 174 cid under hood blower.

    Okay, back up!!!

I need to see pics of this cleveland with said blower!!!

    Incomplete....but here are the pix.

  9. Wow, this must be new. I do not remember seeing this kit when I was looking. I would like to find the float plate that is included. One can adjust float level.

It has been out for a while, but you have to search for it as it is not really listed on the Aeromotive website.  If you know the part number, which I found on summit while looking for the general stealth pump kit, it if out there.

    another 71-73 snub I guess.

  10. F'n camera's are everywhere!! Some of the OPP cars have LPR's here too. Police can enter a number into an onboard computer and get the full info on that vehicle and likewise, can impound the vehicle at the owners expense. My son does it all the time!!

The police here dont have to punch any numbers in. Their computer attached to camera bleeps and goes red if there are any infringements. The database also has the names of known criminals and what cars they drive making it easier to follow criminals in police cars that are not marked up as police cars

Pretty much likewise here, but not all car have that tech.

We can't get away with anything any more!!!! Big Brother's watching.

As a side to this, that's not always a bad thing. A few years ago, about 2010 if I remember, I was on the M25 when the car blew a head gasket in stop-and-go traffic. I managed to get the car to the shoulder close to an overpass and an emergency phone. Next thing, the phone rang. Kind of startled, I answered it. The lady said she can see me on camera from that bridge. She told me to stand well away from the car and as it was about to rain, she had someone from traffic control stop by with a poncho. Then she put me through to my brother to verify the towing insurance and arranged for the RAC to pick the car up and transport the car and me back 120+ miles to my brothers house. That's saved my ass and I was very thankful for "Big Brother" that day.

You lost me at head gasket.

Mighty car mods have spoiled me.  I can’t read head gasket without saying it like them.  :)

Glad everything worked out for you.
