  1. So I got to tearing down a few Mustangs over the past weekend and I'm going to start with the York AC Compressor set-ups...

I have two complete identical Compressor set-ups. Compressor with mounting bracket. Clutch pulley and coil still mounted on compressor. Idler pulley and bracket. If you're interested, private message me with an offer to buy one of the complete set-ups. If I get no serious offers, I will break them down and sell the individual parts separately on Ebay. I know I can make more money that way but I'm offering it up to you guys first.

I'm looking for the hoses from compressor if you take them apart price? to 44030 zip

  2. Ripley,

I have one that I would be willing to part with.

It is from a 73 351 2V set up. Is that what you are looking for ? I do not know if 2V & 4V are the same.

I sure there is a member who knows.

    Thanks, Jay

how do I get ahold of you

  3. Well, I would stop what you are doing and determine why your pins are in different spots. If so, that is probably why you are blowing fuses. The dash cluster connector has small little numbers identifying each pin. If your wire colors are not matching the diagrams, then something is definitely wrong. The standard dash cluster is 9 x 2 pins; the dash cluster connector is 6 x 2 pins.

see the numbers on the dash connector but wiring diagram doesnt show number pin numbers I did test number 18 and is hot with lights on and no power with lights off all my other lights in dash work till i plug connector in then it blows fuse Thanks for the help though about pull harness but that looks like a mess also

  4. For a standard (non-tach) dash, that pin is number 18, a blue/red wire.

If the fuse doesn't blow without the dash installed, then the problem is on the circuit card/dash lamp sockets on the dash cluster.

new circuit board and new sockets new bulb tommorow
