  1. Like I said before, that's what the bill of sale covers. I worked auto theft for years as a detective and it's not an issue. Now you do have to fill out a State of Florida bill of sale form.
  2. Can someone please help me before I lose my mind???? I am looking for 2 point factory style seat belts in black for my 73 Mach 1. I can find a million 3 point style which I do not need. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. I am a police officer in Florida. All that is required is a bill of sale for purchase, especially when it's a project car and will not be registered or insured. Obviously once it's up and running you have to insure it and register it with the state.
  4. Up for sale is a 1973 Mach 1. I am not sure what the actual mileage is on the car as it was sitting in a garage in Detroit since 1981. The original blew up the original engine and sold it. The car has never been titled since the original owner. I purchased the car from the second owner, in Detroit, who never titled the car. So, whoever purchases the car will be the second owner on paper. There is no motor, transmission or driveshaft. I have about 90% of the original interior. Most of the rust was cut out and the previous owner replaced the floor pans, rear quarters and engine compartment panels. I purchased the rest of the panels to fix the remaining rusted out areas. There is some surface rust around the car and the remainder of the car is coated in epoxy primer. I have about 90% of all the body components as well. However, I do not have all of the glass. Here is a list of new parts that will be included with the car: Rear Spoiler and mounting hardware Marker light kit Front fender moldings Mach1 hood Hood scoops and honeycomb inserts Master body bolt kit Hood hinges Door hinges Hood molding Fender brackets Body Plug kit Wiring clip kit Deluxe bumper bolt kit Rear dual exhaust valence Patch panels all around car I purchased a running 73 Mach 1 and just do not have the time to finish this car. I have the Marti report, title from the original owner, a build sheet found under the carpet and new Marti data plate. Here is a link with more info: http://www.ebay.com/itm/263128885769?ssP...1558.l2649

  6. So the 73 Mach 1 I just bought last week feels like a boat, floating around with some mild wandering thrown into the mix. The springs look stock, the upper strut rod bushings are smashed ( I know its a common problem), and to top it off the po put monroe shocks designed for towing in the back. I am looking to make it handle and steer better without breaking the bank and plan on rebuilding the entire suspension and steering on the car. No plans on racing it or hitting turns, just a simple weekend cruiser but would like to bring it down 1". I was going to start with a front suspension rebuild kit from Ohio Mustang. I have searched the site for the last few hours and cannot seem to find a consensus on a mild rebuild like mine. Has anyone had any luck with the grab a track kits from Mustangs Plus or the NPD kits? I am open to suggestions......thanks.
  7. I just purchased a 73 Mach 1 to drive around while I work on another 73 project Mach. A previous owner added a sunpro tach and mounted it to the steering column with a clamp and I hate how it looks. I also have a two complete dash gauges that have the factory tach in them. What can I do to get the factory tach to work with the wiring that was already done for the existing sunpro? Would I better off sending the tach to rcci? I really dont want to pull the whole harness as it is in great shape and at least the previous owner did a decent job of splicing into the harness without hacking it all up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Ron

    Hello

Ok so it has been a little while since I last posted. My 73 Mach 1 project car has not made any progress due to work, building detached garage and other projects. I have 4 years left until retirement so I think the project 73 will have to wait. In the meantime, I picked up this other 73 H code mach 1 today at a great price to hold me over for now. Here are a few pics:
  11. I am located in Palm Beach Florida. Looking for a complete 351C engine doesn't matter 2V or 4V, even a rebuildable shortblock since I plan on using aftermarket aluminum heads. Ron

    Hello

Just a quick intro, my name is Ron and I live in south Florida. I am huge Mustang fanatic and have owned more than I can remember, starting with my first, a 1969 Sportsroof, to my last one, a 2014 GT500. I actually just sold the GT500 along with my wife's 2014 GT as they were just sitting in my garage and were rarely driven. So we decided to find a project to keep me busy on my down time. I just picked up a 1973 Mach 1 that had been sitting in a garage in Michigan for the last 34 years. Very little rust, straight frame but missing the original engine and transmission. I have always wanted a 71-73 Mach 1 since it is my favorite body style. I plan on making it my own and restoring it back to stock. I plan on 408 stroker, 5 speed mannual, 4 wheel disc brakes and custom touches here and there. I will post pics soon and look forward to sharing info with everyone. Thanks. Ron
