  1. I just bought a 1972 mustang coupe and the front seats , someone already tore them down and blasted the frames and painted them black, but they are all in pieces and since I didn't tear them down I need to figure how they go together, on top of that I have no cushions and some bright red seat covers- which I will not use , going black. So I didn't know if anyone had a link to how the seat parts all fit back together. Also I have side levers-big round plastic covers, are the back plastic covers that go on the upper seat portion the same between the two seat style. I need to buy the plastic panels and it seems they only sell one style with the two notches on the bottom, are these the same for the side lever seats?

Few pics 1980 z28 blown camaro Back ground 2012 camaro as well my 2013 Challenger's first winter picture, backed it out of the shop snap a few photo's My z28 before I built the blower to install on it z28 with blower just finished it up, built my own blower out of a mid 70's firetruck 6-71 case, did it all from scratch. 1971 bug with a blown 6-71 (kit) on a 355 sbc little 4x4 fun with my 1993 burb Few pics of some of the toys I play with, soon as I get some pics of the 1972 mustang I'll get them posted. I really want to get it painted in the next few weeks so I'm going to hit it hard and get something done and start ordering parts, I have like 5 or 6 catalogs coming to order from, so I should be covered, if I can't find what I need in those catalogs guess I don't need it. Thanks for the welcome, lots of work ahead of me.

Just signed up since I just purchased a 1972 mustang few days ago, got some work to do to the car and will have lots of questions, active hot rodder who owns a blown bbc 454 1980 camaro,2013 challenger,1980 vette, 2012 camaro and finally 1985 Trans am for play toys and weekend fun. So my 1972 mustang is a welcome addition to my cars and hopefully will have on the road soon so I can enjoy to drive it. Since my other projects are mostly done, I'm turning my attention to the mustang to make it mine. So I hope to learn a lot from others, been a while since I have own a ford product so I will sure need some direction to get my mustang completed. My mustang has a 302 in it and it is a driver, but it needs brake work, interior work and a fresh paint job which all of it I will do. Then later I will start to hop up the engine and drive train to make a healthy 12 second street car out of, by either tunnel ram thru the hood or maybe a 6-71 blower. but first thing is first, I need to fix a little rust on the floors and I need to figure out how to assemble the front seats and buy cushions and new covers. My front seats was all apart and someone already started the restoration on them and blasted the frames and some form of epoxy black paint and they look to be side lever seats which I had had a tough time finding on google. So one of my first questions is, who is a very reliable source for mustang parts for my 1972 Mustang? Something similar to classic industries but with maybe competitive prices and the small stuff, bolt kits, little plastic trim pieces, front grill, pretty much any and everything to buy for a 1972 mustang. Of course I could use many sources I suppose, like to order some catalogs to start thumbing thru. Thanks Dennis
