Big Red mach thats a solid plan, best bang for your buck you can do. If you need a rev limiter or multiple spark at idle you can always upgrade to a cd box later. -

David the msd boxes were all usa made , at a premium price the only reason their made in cornaville is for larger profits not a better or cheaper product. -

Msd boxes were the cats meow, but recently they are all made in china. -
Yes most likely, here is formula that will get you close. Drive gear teeth X axle ratio X tire revolution per mile divide by 1001 = driven gear. An example most trans drive teeth are 6,7,8. Here is my 73 7x3.70= 25.9 25.9 x721.9=18697 18697 divided by 1001=18.69 round it up and your at 19 tooth driven gear. Use this site to help determine revolution per mile depending on your tire size. https://tiresize.com/calculator/ Hopefully somebody has a shorter way of doing this and will share it here, its just what i use.

I would say no , but i use this https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sdk-c4dz-12043-s, if i do use stock ones and there loose i just cut some smaller diameter vacuum hose and use that fill the gap in the coil mount. -

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-8869 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tay-401001 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tay-718222 Here is an option that i run on a few cars. Taylor has a better box and is US made, their coils work well too. -
+1 on the Hookers. Have them coated if you want them to last. Are you talking headers or hookers in general.

I like these, work well. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pwm-7078

Well to be fair mine was a 70 cougar with a 4V 351C, just figured they would close on all 351C. I had to hack 1/2 of an inch on mine. I ended up switching them to some premium stock types. -

If your running headers dont get these, they need grinding to get them to fit. -

351C 4V Oil cooler Y/N comments
Canted 393 replied to Charrlie's topic in Engine, Transmission, Drive Line, Etc
Why not run a bigger capacity pan? Is your motor making that much power you need to?, just asking why. -
Probably your best bet is going thru these guys for a fiberglass 1, the abs repos are junk because they are so thin . I think the 70 and 71 torino 429 shroud is the same as the 71 mustang. https://www.critesperformanceparts.com/page4 Scroll down the page aways and its listed as a 70-71 torino , i have 2 and they are great quality, just had to wait awhile to get them made.

Get a custom camshaft, a 351C is different animal. Call Brent is a ford guy and does a lot of 351C stuff. https://lykinsmotorsports.com/products
