  1. Does this look correct to anyone im only getting the oil and belt light on Can you tell me what year your car is? I am attaching a picture of my wiring but don't try to copy it as I have modified it and there are parts of it that don't apply to you. I circled this circuit breaker in red to show you how its mounted on the fender well but it uses an isolation part that was discussed on another thread a few days ago. If you mount it directly to the fender you will create a short and burn up the wiring. First thing I would do is disconnect the battery. Then can you take some pictures of the area that you are working on so I can get a better idea of how everything is hooked up. Knowing what year your car is will allow me to use the proper wiring diagram to help you try to figure this all out. It might take some time but I am willing to try to help you get this figured out. EDIT: I found a picture of the part that this circuit breaker connects to, try to see if you see that on a loose wire or fender well by the solenoid. I am attaching a picture. it is a 1971

  3. Okay so im in the middle of redoing the electrical system and i have no idea where this gose

  7. okay on the steering column with the blinker and key hole you can turn it 180 degrees what could cause this also when i turn the steering wheel the shift lever moves i know i need a shifter rebuild kit which is easy to do but dont know what causes the problem on the steering column
  8. thanks for the advice that's a good idea for working in a shop. there is not saving this panel i was hit from the rear the valance needs to be replaced along with the bumper the panel actually buckled on the other side its smooth but in the drivers side it is like a lump i will try and get a pic of it later
  9. okay I'm 16 years old and will be driving a 71 mustang now till July and am a little nervous driving drums and a car this long and heavy any advice
  10. like i said before im 16 and about a few months ago someone hit my rear quarter panel not naming names but i need a new one along with a rear valance and bumper dose anyone A. know how to do this and give me guidance B. how much it will cost for all three C. think it can be done by someone who dose not have a lot of experience thanks for the help if you think i cant do it just say it any advice helps
