  1. Rocketfoot, Sent you an email with 3 pictures of our car when we bought it. Hope they are usable. Thanks, Curtis Desaulos
  2. Good luck. I've been trying to find one for my '73 convertible for over 3 years.
  3. I always have admired Chip Foose for his talent and skill, but as a Mustang guy, this build is just too "camaro-ish" for my tastes. Oh, and the gas filler upside down, that'll complicate adding fuel, but not my problem and easily remedied.
  4. L as 5th digit of vin is 6 cyl chassis. Who would put that time and effort into a 6 cyl car? Sent from my hammer and chisel using Tapatalk
  5. I have a special place for car salesmen, my wife worked for the local ford dealership for 22 years, putting up with the sales peoples drama. They are a special kind of special. Sent from my hammer and chisel using Tapatalk
  6. If they are going to even try and ask that kind of price, they should at least replace that convertible top. That top is awful. I agree with previous comments also about the poor english and grammar
  7. I agree with Don. Welcome, I guess. some prices seem to be a tad high. King main bearings thru Summit or Amazon are $68
  8. Is it priced per pound? Hey, look what followed me home. That'll buff right out, drop a battery in and start it up. Sent from my hammer and chisel using Tapatalk
  9. Those look great Don. Great price. Will order one when I get back to working on my car. Sent from my hammer and chisel using Tapatalk
  10. I'm guessing by the part #s, they are for fb? Any pics available? How are the surfaces and screw holes? Pictures to cdesaulos at gmail dot com please. Thanks, Curtis Sent from my hammer and chisel using Tapatalk
  11. David, I need the transition panel at the front of the trunk opening to the convertible well opening. The flat panel immediately in front of the trunk lid when closed, mine is rusted thru although my car doesn't have much rust elsewhere. Thanks, Curtis Sent from my hammer and chisel using Tapatalk
  12. Get some of the 2" wide blue painters tape. Try taping different areas of the windshield and header area until you figure it out. I'd suggest first taping down the upper bright trim along the top horizontal edge of the windshield and then go for a drive to see if you still hear it. Try the side trim next, then maybe the header panel trim (the wide panels where the top meets the windshield. HTH, Curtis
  13. Could be corrosive build up in the battery cables at the terminal connections. They'll conduct voltage but as soon as you try to pass amps, they fail.
  14. Not bad, nor not a bad price if the car is rust free. Looks too much like 71 fastback, not 73 Mach I for my taste. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  15. You say J code, the ad says C code. Which is it? Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  16. Is that the tach and cluster dash harness? Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  17. Where are you located? Pictures of your setup? Possibly interested if the under dash box is in good shape.
  18. not bad. Pictures sure are dark. Wrong air cleaner snorkel though.
  19. Also says it has black leather interior. No way that is factory. Being in Houston, our air is very humid and slightly salty being 50 miles from the gulf, so we do get rust. Haven't seen this car in person, but my guess would be about $80k Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  20. Do you have the door glass? Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
