  1. I'm in the Tri-Cities now. Grew up on Mercer Island, but left for college and moved to Montana in 2000.
  2. Nice car! Looks almost like mine! I don't believe the color on the key fob is correct though. Mine is "medium lime green metallic," not "ivy glow."
  3. If the rear end is breaking loose you may have too much tire on the front, you're too stiff in the rear, not stiff enough in the front, or junk tires.
  4. In addition to the advice given above, pay attention to sidewall stiffness. A lot of time, money, and effort can be quickly negated by a crap set of tires. Anecdotal evidence: I had a 2002 subaru station wagon that I despised. Hated that turd. Felt like it was scraping door handles around every turn. Thought I needed a rear sway bar, or an adjustable front, shocks, springs, etc... Turns out when I dumped the SH!TTY tires and put on some Goodyear F1 shoes everything was a LOT better. Made a huge difference in the vehicle. I still hated the car, but at least it was the lackluster tires any more...
  5. Thank you, everybody, for the welcome! I'll be in Montana this weekend and I'll have to pop into the storage unit to see the car and take a pic of the dash for insurance. I'm excited to get a shop built here so I can get my cool stuff out of storage...
  6. Where in the Seattle area? I'm from the area originally, and I bought my Mach from a guy in Aurora.
  7. Howdy, everybody! Sorry, I got busy at work and couldn't reply. I found some pics of my Mach:
  8. Howdy folks, New to the forum. I've got a 1972 Mach 1 that I've had since high school. Currently, it's in storage in Montana but I'll have it with me when my shop is finished. In any event, I'm looking forward to checking out some other folk's rides!
