  1. Yes, everything is assembled and even though some of the parts did not look exactly like the original part did everything fit okej. But instead of switching the lower outer ball joint if needed I recommend changing the whole arm instead.. How the quality is on the parts remains to be seen but all the parts gave an okay impression
  2. Took some time to get the spare parts due to covid but now they are in place. I took some pictures of the new spare parts together with the old ones, the parts number i refers to is from Summit. Pitman arm POF-103-10057 looked just like the old one and felt like good quality. Idler arm bushes MEV-MS40490 and MEV-MS40490 fited well. Tie rod ends MOG-DS791 and MOG-ES387R did not look exactly like the old ones but fit nicely. Steering coupling LSC-201 did not look exactly like the old ones but fit nicely can not see any problems with it. Lower outer ball joints POF-101-10439 did not look exactly like the old ones but once they were mounted they fit without any problems but I definitely recommend that you change the whole arm. hope someone can benefit from the info
  3. Vary nice, i like almost everything you do on your car, really high quality on everthing.
  4. I cant help you with your problem, but i absolutely LOVE the way the engine looks !!!!
  5. Really nice, much better in green. What product do you use to color it with? How durable is the paint?
  6. Ordered parts last Friday, so now all that remains is to wait. I really do not think it has any significance to my driving either, but I took Moog parts if they had otherwise it became the brand that existed. Will try to come back with comparisons between the parts when I get them home
  7. I did it many years ago but can not remember that there were any big problems. I do not remember what brand it was on the one I bought but I think it came from NPD. The only thing I reacted to was that the color was not the same as on the original, if that is important. But regardless of whether I had no problems or not, if you can find an original I think it's better every day of the week.
  8. To answer some of your questions, the car has power steering and a standard column. I had planned to change everything while I had it all disassembled but maybe it's better to reuse the steering coupler and idler arm, because I can not see anything wrong with these. Hate that it should be so difficult to get hold of parts that you know fit and work, there should be some law against manufacturing parts that are not correct
  9. thanks for the reply. It's just the parts for the steering which is left to change, everything else is already new in the front. So I intend to replace the tie rod ends, pitman arm, idler arm and steering coupler so everything is new and hopefully the car will be little more stable on the road
  10. Hey all. I will renovate the steering on may Mustang this winter, I intend to replace all joints and rubber parts and thought I would consult with you all for advice on which parts to choose. Since I live in Sweden, I am a bit limited in where I can shop, I intend to order parts from Summit Racing as I have done this before and it has worked well. They have parts from several different brands Moog, ACdelco, Delphi, Proforged just to mention a fewsome brands, any that you should absolutely avoid ? Grateful for any advice Andreas

  14. Two weeks ago, my mustang stopped in the yard and refused to start again. Something in the ignition was wrong, not quite sure what, but got it going as it should again tonight. I think that the ignition system is simply worn and needs a proper overhaul but it is nice that it runs again. But while I was looking for the problem of the ignition, I came to think of another problem that has irritated me for a long time. The tachometer in the car does not work and according to the gay my dad bought the car from it stopped working when they changed distributor and ignition coil. I've been thinking about plugging it in but don't know how to connect it, but I thought maybe someone here knows how to connect it and wanted to help. I don't know if it works with the parts that are mounted on it today or if the tachometer works but i would bee very grateful if someone could help me make it work. Here are some pictures of what it looks like today and some cables that are not connected to anything, wonder what they are for? [/url]
  15. hope someone can answer. I would also be interested in one, if they are any good. Otherwise, maybe there is someone who knows if there is another make that is good?

  20. The seat belts are an aftermarket kit that a friend did not need any more. unfortunately they are in a bit too modern style but the important thing is that the children sit properly and safe. The mounting was much simpler than I expected, I had two point seatbelts original and I could use both of the attachment points for these. Just unscrewd the old and screwd in the new ones, more or less. The roller was also quite easy to assemble, if you look under the shelf in the trunk, there is a hole in each corner that I drilled up and used for the rollers, I also put a large washer on the underside.
