  1. I don’t. I left that all attached and wrapped it back and covered for painting front part of engine bay. I can get a pic of you need one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This was my pic prior to disassembly, doesn’t look like anything was on Black terminal... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Gotcha. What goes on that black terminal on alternator then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I made the epic mistake of assuming I would remember how stuff goes back together... Does the mid-leg terminal on Neg battery terminal connect to black post on alternator? I assume so, but just wanted to check! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You could always name the car "Ilean" lollerz Sorry, couldn't pass it up after the day I've had. Dude, it is just one of those weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. My plan now is to fix front suspension, let her settle in and then tackle the floor pans. Going to take Midlifes advice and wait on subframe. I want to make sure she is straight and level with suspension and floor pans before I weld in subframe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Great advice. I have a 1/2 inch or so sag on the passenger side from a broken spring. It sounds like I should rectify that prior to messing with the pans. The driver side pan is in really good shape, I think it just needs a pass side pan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hey crew! Making progress on my 71 Mach 1. Up next she needs a new pass side floor pan, and I want to add subframe connectors. My question is, what is best tactical approach? Should I install floor pan and then add subframe connector, or should I cut out rusted floor segments, install subframe and then weld on floor pans over top? You guys never steer me wrong! Thanks! 9. Just repainted my stock VC’s! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. There is a plastic splash shield at back near door but not one at front Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Pulled the fender and was mostly pleasantly surprised by what I found underneath. Front inner apron as expected. Everything else not too bad. The rust hole in the rear apron section near hood hinges has me a little worried. Not sure best strategy at all to repair that. Advice appreciated! Jeff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks! I am in Durham NC by the way. If you are ever through here hit me up. Work has kept me busy and I haven’t been through the mountains lately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I agree, that is my strategy I think. And the welds will be contained on the fender side, will look cleaner and better overall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Great idea! On my way to buy the gallon jug now, I hear the hardening additive is optional! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Found a nice hack patch from a PO under my battery tray! Looks like a chunk of galvanized sheet metal cut and caulked/glues/screwed. Obviously that is coming out. Need some advice on repair strategy!?!? Cut out bad section and replace or just replace that inner front fender apron as a whole? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have my passenger seat out and about to cut our floor pans on my passenger side. I can take some pics and measurements when I get home if that helps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Did you get the master body bolt kit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the info! This car is not a concours restoration, she is going to me a mostly original restomod with a few safety and convenience feature upgrades. I am trying to keep stuff close to original, and would prefer to not coat every fastener in black if I can help it. :)
  19. What color/finish are these bolts in the apron near battery and solenoid supposed to be? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
