  1. I still have them. Couldn't bring myself to scrap them. Do you want them?
  2. Welcome back! I missed your sense of humor! Also, I heard the worlds most interesting man retired!
  3. I'm wondering if Ford did sell the complete door card with trim pieces. I would think you would have to buy the trim pieces separate. I wonder if he assembled this for all NOS parts.
  4. Sorry to hear about your cancer returning. As I age I'm staring to think about thinning out some of my collections. Good luck to you.
  5. Welcome to the site from Virginia! Post up some pictures.
  6. Welcome to the site. Great story. Back in the late 70's I use to tow a 14 foot power boat with an outboard motor with my 73 convertible. No problem towing or stopping with the stock 6 cylinder. Have fun with it.
  7. Welcome to the site! Mustangs are habit forming!
  8. Gotta love the Bullits! My son has an 01 Bullitt.
  9. There is a red 73 Convertible with red interior in this commercial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axqVMUynoWc

  11. Welcome from Virginia. Post up some pictures of your car!
  12. Nice looking convertible, but with all that black would have to be an early morning or late evening car when the sun is low in the sky. Even my black comfort weave seats get pretty hot during the day with the top down.
  13. You may want to try through his grandson. He posted something on this page. Grandson worked for me http://www.thejoyboys.com/tales2.htm The reference is around half way down and highlighted Thanks for the link. The radio commercial posted about "Hero Badges" for Dick Herriman Ford is a commercial I remember hearing back in the day. The dealership is still there but under a new name. I talked to the sales manager a few years ago and he said all the Herriman records and memorabilia are gone. I have a search subscription on eBay but no hits for over a year now. Sorry OP for the HiJack!
  14. Very nice. Were Comfort Weave seats available on the 71 convertibles? This one has regular seats.
  15. If you are following a thread and it has become lengthy with lots of posts, it is easy to go to the last "Unread" post in a thread. There is a little green arrow between the thread title and the original posters Avatar. Just click on the green arrow and you will bypass the posts you have already read. Enjoy!
  16. Very nice. I've been searching for the Dick Herriman Ford sticker that was originally on my car, but with no luck.
  17. Welcome to the site and good luck with your search.
  18. Welcome to the site. Not sure what the V's are but that is just a partial VIN stamped into the wheel well support. Mine has the stars but not the V's. Here is a link to the VIN Decoder: http://www.7173mustangs.com/misc.php?page=1973 Here is a picture of mine:
