  1. I ended up using contact paper from BerlinWalper.com. It looks lighter than the original but has held up great since installing in 2011. It was stock number 3460029-DCF 1 DC-FIX: Golden Walnut $8.99 I also order a dark walnut but it appeared to be too dark. The first 3 pictures are the Golden Walnut. The last picture is the original insert
  2. My 73 convert has the tags but I had changed the ball joints a couple of decades ago. Knowing me I probably saved them and reinstalled the tags with the new ball joints; but not sure about that. '
  3. I upgraded to Sears tool boxes about 8 years ago. It's holding up very with no issues except user error in breaking off a lock key! They have some good sales sometimes.

  13. Welcome from Virginia. Sounds like great deal. I'm glad to see a teenager taking interest in the old Mustangs! It does sound like a timing issue. Also, if your are running the original style Points in the distributor you may want to change over to a Petronix electronic ignition.
  14. My 73 also has the squeak at the steering wheel. I haven't pulled the wheel yet to check it out.
  15. Welcome from Virginia! Looks like you are off to a good start!
