  4. If you happen to know someone with some old FMS intakes, I would be very grateful for an introduction. I’m looking for the spider A331, not the Torker. I’m not above a finders fee! Thanks Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looking for: 1) FMS M9424-A331 (not the Torker low rise, but the taller one. 2) Parker Funnel Web 3) TFC Want to use on my Iron 4v with raised floors. Let me know if anyone has one sitting on the shelf. Or I’ll buy you a beer if you can give me a lead. Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That’s good feedback guys. I just assumed(#1problem) that the high exhaust ports might cause an issue. I’m in a 68. There just doesn’t seem to be much room between the top of the collector and the floor pan. Maybe it would be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thats kind of the whole point of using SMALLER ported intakes on stuffed cleveland heads. The Cleveland 4v intake ports are massive. My heads are already epoxy filled so I’m already kind of too far down this path. If money were no object. I’d love to just throw a set of 3v heads on and get best of both worlds. Oh wait.... most have raised exhaust ports and that’s a PIA in an old mustang. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The esport brace is global west. Very nice peace. Highly recommend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Know there are some experts here so here goes: i have a SVO “Torker” A331 and a Roush A351 both fitted to 4v Cleveland heads that have had the floors expoxied up to match these intakes.(there is also a Holley strip dominator in the pic, but it’s out of the question for now since my heads are epoxied. I’ve found a B351 intake but the ports seem much smaller. I want something more high end oriented with a solid floor valley plan. question: can this intake be opened up to work with my current port set up? first picture is my intakes I have on the bench. and the blue one is
  10. Considering switching over to a set of aluminum heads and racier intake. Anybody got anything sitting on the shelf? a3, trick flow etc? Using stuffed Iron 4vs at the moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Good question. This 381c is already built and up and running. It Dynoed at about 500hp. All forged bottom, 4v heads, that are already epoxied to high port. I have a SVO331 “Torker”style intake on it now and I REALLY real like it’s being choked back with not enough airflow. The Dyno said it was only flowing in the mid 600cfm. I also have a SVORoush A351 Spider style intake, but I absolutely hate that it doesn’t have a built in valley plate. I can’t really use my third option which is the Holley Strip Dominator. While a lot of people swear by it, it’s not configured f
  12. Let me know. Mike 832-833-0893 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Good to know. You are real close to what I’m running. I’m still at 36, and it’s running strong. Good to know I have about 2 more degrees to play with. Thanks everyone for the feedback. Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What intake are you using? How big of a cam? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I really want to do this next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Correct. That was my plan but I was wondering if there was anything else at the firewall or elsewhere that would need correction. I didn't want to put out the money for all new AC components if I'm never going to use it. If u still want a heater, then just plug up the a/c evap. at firewall. If no heater and max weight savings, pull the whole heater/a/c box fron under dash and silicone a block off plate for inside cowl/firewall holes. This is what I did. Made a custom plate. 20. I’m curious as to what others have seen their hot rod 4v closed chambered stroker Cleveland’s total timing tolerate. Mine is a 381stroker with 10.3/1 compression with Holley hyperspark dizzy and Super Sniper. Forged pistons, hbeam rods, forged crank. Hyd roller .235/245@50, .625 ish lift. It is in the 500ish HP ballpark, and I’ve been inching my way up on total timing. Started at 32. Now at 35 on 93 pump gas. I see reports up to 38. Your thoughts appreciated. I posted here since I know there are a lot of Cleveland’s here. Thanks, Mike Sent from my
  21. Just messin' with ya, Man. I'm happy with my Pypes set-up, but I'm thinking I wish I would've gotten a set of dumps along the way and had the custom exhaust done as well (bypass the muffler, but route back into the tail pipe... rather than dump right out under the car). I love my electric cutouts. They are the bees knees!!! Who’s electric cutouts are you using? I want to put a set of 3” on mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. If you got it, drop it! Burn outs are fun! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
