  1. It's popular to rank on young people these days but I've run into plenty of capable hard workers like these two!
  2. I briefly felt that way when I got into my latest project. Decided that declining ability to do the tasks coupled with higher standards justified letting the pros do the work. If you enjoy the results, you're still a genuine car guy!
  3. You should be much more than a little proud!
  4. These days "Woke" brakes are a good thing!
  5. Click on the original link and you can view pics that are updated often
  6. Getting closer, maybe 4-6 weeks out!
  7. Looks like someone has been there before, I don't believe the factory brazed

  10. I remember doing that on my dining room table in my college apartment 50 years ago!
  11. Combination of the Ford performance engine/trans package and Chassisworks suspension/brakes/crossmember/rear axle. Lots of fabrication by Desert Classic Mustang in Tempe, AZ.
  12. My 11 sec daily driver is better at that.
  13. This thing will lead a pretty easy life so no need for hoops and cages. Strictly street driven and no hard launches with sticky tires. Just a stock 460hp coyote.
  14. Lost a lot of time due to the virus but progress is being made. Link in original post is updated monthly so you can follow along.
  15. Sport deck does put the spare to the right, also F60-15 option that requires the space saver spare
  16. Tire is definitely not original, you wouldn't want 50 year old tires! https://www.cjponyparts.com/ These guys have lots of seat belt options available.
  17. Same color as my donor car! https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipM0aomesevVOivbyKExhgcVRDU2nr01gfNLQiKN
  18. Might be worth hiring a security guard to watch it when you aren't there
  19. 1 year into a project to recreate the 1971 Mach 1 I got new as a senior in high school 50 years ago. I looked at several restorations around the country, but while they were pretty, the driving experience was dismal. I can't believe my old car drove that badly, but I may have gotten used to modern performance. After almost giving up on the quest, I decided to get a clean donor car and have a visually identical Mustang with a Coyote drivetrain and corresponding suspension upgrades. I found a 1972 fastback in WI and had it shipped to Desert Classic Mustangs in AZ. They lost several months over the summer due to the virus but hope to have it complete by Jan. Here's a link to photos of their progress and I'll also attach an old pic of me and the original car back when. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNDzOZDt8lrmWzQM2G6_lPLacVQydrd5Srf4H0BKXP5YGm-6U1TVLfE6NmoB5CC_g?key=MFZhQkd5LWZWRnEzeDRXOHJCWDhIZjdTM2VidV9R
