Hey hello, What a nice car ๐Ÿ˜ as more I see this colour, I think about a painting like that ๐Ÿ˜… Unfortunately my English is not the best, and till now I did not really come along with this site here.... I didn t get where I can post my car or when I found something, the pictures are too big.... I read something, how to do, but I didn t understand it, because of my poor English knowledge.... And the most translator in internet are terrible ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… I hope one pic does gut in here

  5. thx for telling me about it for sure there are also good people in german group, but I often read in that group their posts, most of the time, there just stupid comments, not answering what was asked for....or others are compaining how you can ask such stupid things and so on.....not everybody is an expert, and we try to get knowledge about books and you tube-like to make a carburetor overhaul....by the way , I try my best to get all the correct designations, and this is something wihich is hard for me to learn I am looking forward to get new informations experiences unfortunately the spark plug problem is still there....when you told me that brf42 correct , we found out that my buddy Manu has to has the same in his 427fe engine. So yesterday we wamted to test his one- and they didn t fit-why, because it seems like my engine block is from 1974, BUT my cyclinder head fom 1970-so this why my spark plugs are not that ones, they should be.I have to have the ones with 16mm socket.....I got them yesterday, but after test ride plug face is still to lean and hot. We already changed mainjets to the highest size, without riding with jerky engine....I can t find a colder plug....that she draws air , we also had tested-negative Now we think about to change the ignition timing, and if this not help , I will contact some guy to change the air fleeds(?) at the carburetor and measure emissions to get a good result.....or do you have any idea, what could be the problem ?
  6. But normally you are paid for such a look๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคฃyes so far I kept all bills for example, but there were so many little things.... Like the connection to the servo pump..... I found the owner, who put the V8 engine in, but this is about 30 years ago, and he gave all documents to the next owner..... Unfortunately these documents got lost over the years, I did not get anything when I bought her..... ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™Š But then you are good seller ๐Ÿ˜‰
  7. I think in Germany it is normal when you buy an older amrican car, which is not expensive ๐Ÿ™ˆ also it may be, that I was a little bit naive..... I looked up about 4 cars before - not mustangs, but she catched my eye.... ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™ˆ Yesterday I had the next frustrating experience.... But life would be boring, if everything went always.....
  8. Yes you are right, so far if you have all information about, what was done..... I don t know a Mustang 1972 in detail, so when I want to change an broken part, I order it for a 1972 mustang, but most of the time, this part was not fitting, because the broken part was from a another year.... And so it went on..... If you do it all on your own, then it's best.. You know what you have done ๐Ÿ˜…

  13. hello everybody, thx a lot for adding.... to introduce my car and myself, it will take a bit๐Ÿ˜… I am Sarah, 35 years, living in bavarian near to munich. I felt inlove with the american v8 sound , when I was 18. But it is not that easy, even as a girl, to get an american car here. It took me nearly 15 years to realize my dream. While I was searching for a car -I wanted an oldtimer all the time, I found my blue lady- now called Mary Blue. She was not in good conditions- but when we came for car inspection, I fell inlove...I knew it will be a lot of work, but I didn`t wanted a perfect car.....so there she is. Mary Blue 1972 Ford Mustang with an 302 Windsor- BUT when I had her home, we found out- my mustang was delivered 1972 with an in-line six-cylinder engine, and my 302 windsor from 1974(!)was placed in in the 80ยดs in germany......and this is , whenn problems got started๐Ÿ˜‘ to get more power, my engine was given sharper camshaft( sorry don t know, if this correct in english๐Ÿค”) unfortunately we don`t have any information what kind of camshaft....although there where many things changed -not original from 1972-my brake lines were from the 1980`s, my balancer is from 351 Cleveland engine and so on.....I rebuilt her as best I can, and I get a lot of help of my best friend Manu, who is a mechanic.He rebuilt an 1965 mustang up to 400hp-sold it, and bought an 1968 Ford Galaxie 500XL with the 427 FE engine.....he knows the 60ยดs mustangs, but not the 70ยดs, so this why we recognize so late, that there are so many things not orginal......so pls don ยดt be mad about me, if I ask "stupid" questions๐Ÿ˜”.....we try our best to get the most information on our own. I bought some manuals....but still there are some riddles for us๐Ÿ™ˆ and sometimes it drives me really crazy๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ’ข๐Ÿคฃ and I can just make rebuilding step by step, because the most thing that have to be done are really expensive for me๐Ÿ™ˆ so what we did already- we changed all liquids and oils, we renew all hoses, nearly all brake lines are new, a new stainless steel exhaust from pypes with an x-pipe, new wheels and tires,new petrol lines, new carburetor from holley 600,rebuilt the differential with a new ratio from 2,78 to 3,55, I did a lot of painting, new valve lid, new balancer, new drum brakes in the back, new disc brakes including new master cylinder, new water pump,new ignition cables, nearly everthing is new sealed, and this winter the new big projekt is the suspension...I try to save up money for leaf springmid-eye1"-Lowering 4-1/2 Leaf pair, so that the projekt can be started..... I found already very friendly support in the american mustang group - I can tell you, in Germay the mustang groups are unfriendly, the most of the time, just stupid comments and so on....I am happy to be here, and maybe if all will went well, we wanna go on holiday to usa next year-looking forward to it.๐Ÿค— pictures will follow
