  5. Thanks Will E and Ray. Both cool links..... I saw the fe intake on a Fairlane M/T made Mopar style Fordish hemi heads for. They made like 3 pairs. The idea was dumped by M/T when the SHOC Fords came out just a short time later. So I have seen adapters to put 351c intakes on fe's . I had contemplated have an M/T fe intake machined down to fit ? Just a nutty idea for a rainy day. I like Willy, I can remember he is a tri-power 351c man? I saw a Speed master dual quad that was tempting too. Sure like to know if any one has tried it. two 450cfm Holley's or 2 500 cfm Edelbrocks would work..... Also considered getting a Bud Moore Mini ram , slap some M/T logo's on it....... Has anyone gone to all these new efi deals ? Thanks Joe Stang.....

  7. hey guys and gals , did m/t ever make a 351c Intake manifold ? I have seen Bud Moore Mini rams , Shelby dual planes too . If you have a early 70's M/T cataloge please check and let me know. I have only seen one for FE Fords so far . I have the valve covers already. Thanks ! Joe Stang.:chin:
  8. The Edelbrock and Carter cabs a just about bullet proof . There are some good posts here . Fuel pump seemed to ring a bell with me . Just for fun check out your fuel cap. if it is a replacement cap it needs to be vented. Good luck and don't give up. you will find a solution.
  9. Hey , how bout using the inside headlights on the cougar for thunder bolt style ram air to the intake ? it will look better than the stock air box for sure. Cool build . Keep me posted on tuning it . Joe Stang
  10. I remember our old DM at Super Shops , Dan B doing a killer stinky burn out in a rental car just like the donor. It was impressive.
  11. Awesome car and I am in love again.....Total home run being a stick car. I am happy for you and jealous too. Great buy. I do like the black too vs yellow .
  12. Also I found a cherry ram air hood I will be adding to the car too while the engine's out. I found it at the local pic-n-pull , rust free for $56.00. I have been looking for one like this since 1988 ! I couldn't see getting a re pop fo $400.00+.....The pic is "old hood".[/img]
