have used a new second-hand wiring harness, using the right cables will make this happen. So it's a wire issue. I think the cable coming from the altornator to the contact comes after the Start contact instead of before, is that so? Or are we wrong. it comes after thé start run possition . And i think it must come before thé run possition . Tanks Ingrid.

Hey, Can someone help me with the problem: If I start the Mustang no problem, but if I shut down the Mustang and pull out the key, the mustang keeps running and I have to shut it down by disconnecting the battery. Does anyone know what's wrong and what I can do about it? Tanks Ingrid.

This is what you need on a 1973 -
::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: Vinnie, I like this thread to know everyone's improvements and yet remain as original as possible. ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: What I self added also when rebuild the Mustang: - under dash lights under the front seat's for floorlight rear passenger; - electric trunk release - mounted sound speakers L+R under the dashboard (room enough for that, no speakers in the doors or kickpanels) - extra sigar lighter socket in mid.console(shifter) for navigation or cell phone USB loading or ... - recent convert the original mid.console clock to Quartz

Sort of a metal push in rivet thing. Round button head and metal spring type point like a molly without the screw feature
