Has anyone bought / used one of the AMK master fastener kits? I'm starting to think it might be easier to use buy it than de-rust and paint or electroplate all of the pieces?

The one I'm looking at is # 73Z-M for the 1973 Mustangs.

Don @ OMS has it for $179.

I'm powdercoating or painting all the brackets, hood latches, headlight buckets, etc. and want to have the fasteners looking good too.

I bought the master body kit 73Z-M and the under hood kit 73Z-UH. Everything is individually packaged and well labeled. I'm going to buy the interior kit and engine kit next. Money well spent.

As you said. With the time it takes to clean up the old I figured the kit was the way to go and have yet to be disappointed. Bought mine from Don as well.

Once you use one of the kits - you will never go without one

Yep, definitely worth the money. I was missing a lot of the original pieces and some were stripped too.

Bought and used the master chassis kit and also the master body kit.

Bought both the interior and body kits. Life saver in time. Now I did do all specific to the car that are not repos. Major time. But worth it.
