Alright... Bears fan from way back. Can anybody recall a more gutless move from a quarterback (or any player for that matter) taking a knee (no pun intended) in a conference championship game? Can you imagine Rogers taking a seat? Rothlesberger? Of course not. Not that Cutler made a difference (for the Bears at least) but I'm just saying...
Congrats, Packers. But I've gotta pull for the Steelers in the big game...lots of family history in Pennsylvania.

but the rivers roll gently, connecting the small towns of people whose histories have been built on strength and humility.
People from Pittsburgh don't have the biggest shopping malls or the best nightclubs, but they'll take Friday night high school football and Steeler Sunday over anything.
Steeler football means so much more than you think. It
symbolizes a Diaspora of generations who had the best childhood they could imagine.
They ran free without a care or concern in the valleys of those Allegheny Mountains . Their blue-collar world was easy ... there was no one to tell them that they lacked material things. There was no one to tell them that they needed more.
As the steel mills closed and the jobs disappeared, some of these people had to leave. While the world benefits because they spread their Pittsburgh values, they long for their home where things were simpler and more pure.

know what I'm talking about.

12. A girl walks up to three of her girl friends and says,

Growing up in Eastern Ohio about 40 miles from Pittsburgh and surrounded by steel mills, most of us either loved the Steelers or Browns, thank God I went for the Black and Gold! In my travels around the world in the Army I've always enjoyed the company of others from the "Steeler Nation", truely great people from all over.

OK waited to vote on this because we are a college town with no pro teams around, yeah the Houston Oilers are down the road but we are willing to send them back at anytime. So I guess the determining factor for me is there is not going to be any cheer leaders there to distract BIG BEN, Steelers for me.

Well, bummer. Packers won - but that's cool for them. At least it wasn't a sucky game... not like the half time show, anyway.
Yep, one team had to lose, but the fans all won! We got 60 minutes of great football! There's always next year for #7!
One of the best games I have seen in a long time. Both played a good 60 min. of football. Thought the pack was goint fo loose tho the way they played the 3rd quarter.
