WAS GETTING SLOW ENGAGING WHEN PARKED FOR WINTER, NOW NO ENGAGEMENT. DROPPED PAN AND CHANGED SCREEN, BUT NO HELP.

ALSO SEAT BELT BUZZER NOT COMING ON. NO RPM DROP AT ANY POSITION ON SHIFTER.

FLUID WAS NOT BURNT AND MINOR METAL PASTE IN PAN.

TRANS GONE OR HOPE COULD IT BE LINKAGE ISSUE

Check your linkage and make sure its connected, you say it was engaging slow and now nothing. Have you checked to make sure the vacuum modulator is connected and working. Any fluid loss? Check the fluid level and make sure it's full, even a half quart low can cause funny things in automatics.

Sounds like you don't have any line pressure or fluid moving, are you running original torque converter? List could go on and on but I would narrow down the basics first.

FLUID LEVEL CORRECT JUST CHANGED SCREEN AND TOPPED OFF. VAC MODULATOR REPLACED IN FALL TRYING TO CORRECT FAST 1-2 SHIFT. BEEN ADJUSTING BEFORE PARKED LAST YEAR. IF OVERADJUSTED COULD THAT CAUSE NO ENGAGEMENT
