Window crank screw size

Trying to save time by buying these locally. I thought I had cross-referenced a part number to a 10-24 screw, bought them and they don't fit. Anyone know the correct size?

Ok, it's 8-32 if anyone needs to know.

Correct for original or NOS parts.

But I found out that the repro regulator assys have metric threads in the crank as well as in the mounting holes.

These must be original regulators, 'cause 8-32 worked......'bout time I had some good luck with this project. Thanks for that heads-up though.
