I am always more at ease when I can watch someone do something and then copy it instead of reading up on it.

Here's a vid that helped me a lot when I applied my Mach1 deck lid stripe:

Nope. It works just the same way.

The position is defined by the cutout for the trunk key cylinder.

Got the stripes on yesterday and tonight.

Used the measurements from the 429 Megasite and then used a laser line level just so the top pinstripes all line up perfectly.

One hint: once you wet down the stripes and the car, WORK QUICKLY to smooth it out and get the bubbles out! Especially the door stripe.

Make sure you use the proper squeegee!

Thanks. That's a job over the next month or two.

Damn, he made it seem so easy.
I replied to you on the iPhone and your avatar was so small I did not realize you were going to do the job on a convertible. That is gonna be a little tricky because of the different proportions of the deck lid and quarter extensions.

But it can be done. I was able to pull it off and I am known for screwing everything up that can be screwed up, so, you should be safe. :)

It actually is almost as easy as the guy made it look.
