Took it for a spin tonight. Once warmed up it ran pretty strong and stable. Also discovered a very nice route to drive.

Today was national take your cool car to work day.

Ok so I made that up, but I definitely had the coolest car. It was an odd Texas high in the low 80s, sunny, and few students on campus (between terms). I was at our main campus which is an hour away. Good day for a drive.

Cruising down the road in Germany on November 28th 1987, 1 day after I bought the car. It was darn cold and no working heater. I later found the heater core totally being plugged up!

This thread should really have a warning like:

"If your 71-73 is likely to stay in garage for a while as you're far from done. Do not look at the picts, they'll make you very jealous" :)

73 modified Grande 351C. (Finally back on the road woohoo!)

I know this is an older thread, but I'm sitting at home riding out a blizzard in Central Nebraska. Its too cool for me outside to work in the shop so I'm surfing the net and dreaming of summer, and had to add my pic to the thread!!!!

Ok, hopefully other years are acceptable. How about over the hood of my 67 at Indy.  I need to look for some 72 over hood shots.

Score! Found some over the hood of the 72 at Darlington when pacing the NASCAR Southern 500 back in 2015. This was the experience of a lifetime.

By far my favorite one. Going down pit lane with the pit box LED signs waving on the left and the field coming by on the right at the same time. Life was Good!
