Happy production day!

That was one of the last days of production for these cars. It seems like we found one that was built on 7/6/73 if my memory is correct.

Mine was made 41 years ago on July 6, 1972.

My C6 Mach 1 was also produced on 7/5/73. It has been in my family for 33 of its 40 years. That's cool - our cars were on the line on the same day!

Very cool.

Maybe I'll do a cruise on my car's 41st.

Thanks all. It was a great weekend and I really enjoyed driving almost nonstop. Now, thunderstorms coming so the 73 is safely tucked in until next weekend!

Thanks for the reminder. My 73 convertible hit 40 on June 19. I think she's upset that I missed it.

My car turned 40 on July 3rd unfortunately she was in the shop getting some electrical work done. I just got her back today. I am going to spend some time with her this weekend.
