Hemmings

Does anyone here sub to Hemmings and still has the issues from 2012?

A good friend of mine bought a car from an ad in Hemmings last June or July (2012).

Unfort he passed away in Feb and we can't find any documentation of the purchase.

I also know that the subed to Hemmings Motor News and that's prob where he saw the car listed at a dealer in Alabama.

The car he bought is a 1965 Chevy Impala SS 409 vert, red with a white top and white interior, 4 speed.

Did he not receive the car? or paperwork?

His niece got in the house first and just about clean the whole place out.

We're trying to determine a price to sell the car and unfort what he told me and his brother in law the sales price is night and day.

So we figured if we can verify the original ad we would have a better idea of what to ask as a re-sale.

Decided to take the big plunge and ordered the two back issues of the Hemmings which I think had the car advertised that he bought.

I contact them late yesterday and they came through with the ad/pic of the car.

Super company in my book.
