My Car
1971 Mach1, 351 Cleveland, Ram Air (not factory), C6 Automatic, AM/8 Track, Bright Red.
One guy had a blue 1969 GT500 convertible with a 428 Cobra Jet and it's clear from looking at it, that's where the mold for our cars was hatched. The body style was much more like a 71 than a 69.

The only car in the 71-73 models was a yellow 1972 Mach1 that was also really nice. What I found interesting is the steering wheel, and center console were made out of wood, plus it appeared the dash was also of wood. The owner wasn't around so I couldn't talk to him and I didn't want to stick my hand into to his car to touch the dash to see if it was real wood but it appeared to be. I left a 7173Mustangs card in his seat, hope he joins us.

Some nice looking rides...Where is yours jim? hehe
Drove the 71 to the car show but just as a spectator, didn't enter it, it was one of the 10:00am to 4:00pm shows and we were more interested in cruising than sitting in a lawn chair behind it. LOL

I did have it all waxed and looking sweet this weekend though.

i hear ya there...She looks sharp even not cleaned up..lol

Nice! I'm curious though, as to why the '72 Mach 1 has a 'dummy light' instrument cluster and non Mach 1 seats. I do think the Argent stripes on the yellow paint is pretty kick-ass, though. ::thumb::
