I notice the seller is Bob Perkins - wonder if he is going to sell off more of his cool stuff?

Non "NOS" 427 SOHC are "actually selling" for around 15K to 20K when they come up. There was another one on Ebay a while back that they wanted 30K for and it looks like it did not sell for that.

I have one on a stand in my shop that I plan to put in a 61 Starliner - I just have to find the Starliner. (Future project) I got it out of a 65 Falcon that someone had big plans for. Like all the other SOHC motors I have seen it had a hard life. Mine had sleaves in 7 of the 8 cyl. and one head had some massive repair work done on it.

I got some of the missing parts I needed from DOVE:

For 30K you can get a complete DOVE SOHC with all new parts. It will take another 3K to get it in a car and running.

The 65K Sohc will probably end up never being used - sad.
